2020 grill Chrome bars

After applying the black out overlays I was left w the chrome bars on each side. I hated it. So I searched and searched for over lays for them but they don’t make it. So I decided to vynl wrap them. There is two screws and a hard press lever(be careful I broke one) that hold them in. Easy and cheap solution that didn’t take to long. I used a matte black vynl that matched the overlays pretty good.

There are apparently overlays for them on ebay now. I did the same with vinyl but also wrapped the front and rear valances while I was at it. The silver just didn't look very good on the red, IMO.

 

@runner4it the valances being silver on my car doesn’t bother me since mine is grey. It makes it a black grey and silver color theme but those two chrome bars once the badge was black,I couldn’t stand. Have you found them on eBay or is that just the talk on the street?

@runner4it i just found them on eBay -‍♂️ Would have been easier! I guess once the vinyl takes a beating,I’ll snag a pair.

 

I was going to say someone had posted on one of the facebook groups. I'll probably do the same and replace when the vinyl wears a bit. Assuming I don't change the grill completely by that point.
