this dingus on a 4runner Facebook group for 4th gens who did a drop bracket lift and claims to have "changed the game". when it was pointed out that at a minimum 4 other people have documented completing a DB lift on a 4th gen he called all haters, and then proceeded to tell everyone that anything but DB is "cutting corners" and if you don't have one, you #cantpaytoplay. he uses hashtags quite a bit. also called a member poor because he had an icon setup

 

picking up my replacement CV from Napa tonight. $97 not that bad.

Yeah no kidding. It looks much worse in person. I know an adjuster at a local body shop, she said just from looking here it would be about $3300. Yikes. Quarter panel, tailgate, bumper, tail lights...

No kidding. The guy who started the whole thing ended up going to the hospital. He was an older gentleman. Hopefully he's alright, but damn. His Equinox was really destroyed. definitely totaled thanks to the side curtain airbags deploying.

I'm just preparing myself to fight with his insurance company to get my truck fixed correctly or totaled. I'm not settling for non-toyota parts or some bullshit body shop. Good thing my claim rep through Progressive is like the cavalry. He's just as ready to fight with them as I am.
