We wanted to get out and explore Colorado and the Tesla wasn't going to get us there. I loved the Tesla and if it were at all possible, I'd have both the Tesla and the 4Runner. I don't have anything negative to say about the Tesla as I never had any issues with it.

Well some good news for a change in my life. Bad news first: my wife broke her hip and fractured her collar bone in a fall and is in the hospital but is doing well and is healing nicely. The good news is that she will be released this coming Wednesday. Other good news, my battery powered mower stopped working on me this week. It just died and could not get it started again. Called the company up and after a few troubleshooting tips, they decided to send me a brand new one even though it has been a bit over a year. Talk about great customer service. The company is WEN.

Coming home today, I was walking up the street towards my house when I see my wife and 10 month old in the second floor window. He saw me and got the biggest smile and started waiving!

    It's the little things, right!?

My 1990 passed smog last Wednesday! The tech even commented on how well-good the numbers were and said it’s cleaner than most new cars. I’m pretty happy, I always get nervous because for so many years I used to have a heck of a time with my K-10.

In the scope of good news... Still employed, and busy workwise. We are healthy, our families are healthy, and hope that all of you and your families are too! We both sold our existing vehicles, (the 2019 T4R ORP and 2016 Nissan Rogue) and picked up a 2020 T4R ORP and a 2020 Tacoma in June and loving it. Getting stuff done around the house that has been put off for ages.

    Cheers,

    Sean

Time to bump this thread up and keep it going.

Went "wheeling" Saturday. The "" are because it was basically just a dirt road - Holcomb Valley Road. But we knew that going in, we went there to look at and read about the history of gold mining. But as it turned out - IT FREAKING POURED! Thunder and lightening the entire way. We tried to walk over to the old Gin Mill during a break in the weather but then is started to rain and hail on us. It was EPIC! We had the best time. And..... because we did not get to actually see all the sites we wanted to.... we are going back when we are sure there will be no rain.

CV19 has not really hurt us financially and it looks like we will be able to maintain our income stream.

My buddy is unemployed so I hired him to detail my Runner - It looks BEAUTIFUL.

I also got another detailing job lined up for him.

My entire family and everyone I know is healthy.

    More good news to follow.

Right on congrats! We just refinanced our house to get a lower interest rate and found out we have almost 100k in equity. Also, I passed my final today for the police academy today. I should be certified soon. Just have to wait on paperwork!

I know this was April but, I just read it now. First; That is really good news about your biopsy results. It was 5 yrs ago on April 20 my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer, also this is our wedding anniversary date. We are married 35 yrs. The good news; she has been cancer free for quite some time. The other good news is; your daughter got married. Now the good news will be; Grandkids! Our kids are married and gave us 6 Grandkids(very blessed we are) Your thread is incredible, lots of people focus on negative, it is refreshing to see POSITIVE for a change. Thanx for your thread!

Thank you. Our daughter said she "might" be pregnant yesterday. She had enough signs that she went out and got a test. Turned out she is not which is actually also GOOD NEWS. We would all like them to wait a while before they have children but my wife and I are REALLY looking forward to grand kids. We get along with my son-in-law's family very well. They already have grandkids from his sister and they have already said that if there is a conflict, we get priority in taking care of this one. We are more than happy to share but it is nice to know we wont be fighting over who gets to see the grandkid on holidays. All good stuff.
