Does anyone know why most of the dealership websites say “product no longer available” on the black TRD wheels? I want to order some but want a good price.

get them on E bay. 90% of the TRD wheels on there are being sold by dealers.

Oh thank you! I figured they would just have replicas on there.

They're on backorder at Nashua Toyota also. I tried ordering them yesterday. They'll charge you for them but shoot you an email saying they're backordered with no ETA.

Dont yell at me, just curious, why is everybody going for those rims? isn't that just copying a higher trim that you didn't pay for and thus a bit "ricey" ? or posing?
If you change it, why not make it really unique? Running the stock pro wheels is no different than 318 4 banger running M rims....we all know it is not an M.

If the TRD pro was a substantially different car, maybe. It's an Offroad with an overpriced cosmetic package. An M car is a fundamentally different vehicle compared to a 318.

The idea is the same, copying a higher priced trim. I will eventually change the TRD OR wheels, but i am most probably going for black aftermarket - make it truly yours !

I’ve yet to see an aftermarket wheel on a 4Runner that I like better than the TRD wheels. Once my stockers or my will power are worn down, which ever comes first, I plan to replace my OR wheels with TRD. The OR wheels are the only thing I really don’t care for on my 4Runner. The beauty of “making it my own” is that’s exactly what I’m gonna do.

For the record, I absolutely agree with most of the comments about sticking badges on cars that don’t match, but I don’t think putting TRD wheels on a TRD OR is somehow trying to convince anyone I’ve got something more than I have. If I was trying to put Pro badges on my OR... different story.

    My wheels finally shipped yesterday.
And yes S50 was the code they sent, maybe it still works... but I will say if you don’t like the price on one of the websites, just add them to your cart, fill in your email and don’t check out, in a day or two several places will email you a coupon code if you will purchase! :)

As much as you value your choices on your wheels, you have to appreciate and understand others. People are going for what they like and that’s that :)

Ordered my black TRDs from one of the dealers on EBay today. $848 shipped. Not the best price I’ve seen, but after talking to my dealer, it was the best price I was going to find for “a while”. He said the whole supply/demand system is way out of whack. Dealers have been told they are only to order them for repairs, and have to supply a vin number to order.
