I feel like my 4Runner is starting to fall apart even though there's no issues with it anymore and it's completely solid now. Kinda weird actually.

I'm on 6 years with my 8 year old Taco, turned 60k miles a couple weeks ago. I love it, but I can't help wanting a bigger truck for towing... they are just so fucking expensive.

I can't wait to swap these hubs out. Fkn A this vibration and tracking is so annoying. If this doesn't fix it, I'm buying matches.

Also fixed the random brake light issue. Apparently i was quite low on brake fluid. The light would light up around corners, uphill/downhill until i leveled off. Thats because it was at the low line in the reservoir. woops.

haha mine was 100% my fault from when i swapped the rear caliper i let a lot of fluid drain. And then bled the brakes after i didnt have the stupid washer in between the bolt so it shot fluid everywhere.

Put my RCI skid plates on. I went front to back with the exception of the gas tank skid and including the filler plate. Almost time to start a build thread.

Cleanest they will probably ever be. I'm digging them for the most part, they look good and the aluminum is saving me a ton on weight. The only thing I don't like is that I don't think the aluminum is strong enough to jack it up. I tried to crank it up by the skid to take the jack stands out and there was a lot of creaking and groaning that I didn't like the sound of so I dropped it back down pretty quickly.

@LTDSC Hawaii hashtag has started telling people that if they don't have a drop bracket they are "cutting corners" and can't "pay to play"

Well been busy on mine for the last few days. I figured I would go through it since I just bought it and it has high miles I found both CV axles bad and a frozen piston on the passenger side front caliper. Just finished all repairs last night. I replaced all fluids in both diff's and transfer case, change oil and oil filter, greases all universal joints, flushed and refilled power steering fluid, changed air filter and will be replacing spark plugs tonight. I'm getting too damn old to be working on these things......:bananadead: When it stops raining I'll clean it up and snap a few pics.

My passenger side cv inner boot is leaking. Saw it while I was throwing up my skid plates. Driver side isn't bad yet, but I imagine I'll be doing both at the same time. Figure I'll do both axles while I'm doing both lcas. Not looking forward to it. I'm pretty mechanically adept, but I've never swapped an axle before. Hoping everything can hold out over the next two months as I get an extra pay check in December that will help pay for all this.
