2020 4Runner Venture (TRD PRO GRILLE) Installation question

Bought the 2020 TRD Pro Grill pieces (PZ323-35058 Garnish $287.92 PZ327-35056 Upper Grille $113.59) But also saw that you need to buy the

PZ327-35702 radiator grille bracket for 2020 trd pro grille

Is that true?

Also are there any tutorials on how to install this 2020 Pro Grille on the 2020 Model 4runner? Thanks!

I also have a Venture that I'm looking to do this with. Question for you: Did you have any issues with the Toyota Safety Sense? I know a lot of people have had to notch out a section of the bumper to make it fit around it, while others haven't had an issue with it. Was wondering if maybe there was something special about the Venture that didn't require the notch.

 

Hey! I had no issues because I purchased OEM parts for the 2020 4runner. The grill already comes precut/ shaped with the TSS in mind. Fit perfectly and I just followed a video for the 2019 installation, and it was the same for the 2020.

Also you only need (PZ323-35058 Garnish $287.92 PZ327-35056 Upper Grille $113.59) and not the radiator grille bracket. I purchased mine from Larry Miller Toyota https://parts.larryhmillertoyota.co...d-pro-grille-trim-for-2020-4runner-pz32335058


The only suggestion I Have that you must follow is, make sure the grille area is warm when you attach the new grille (you'll know what I mean when you watch the video) Cause once you take off the 3M tape and stick it on, it is nearly impossible to wiggle around to move.

That PRO grill looks great, I just ordered for my 2020 TRD ORP, how long
did it take to install?

 

So I bought mine direct from the dealer because of the sensor (way too expensive, but worth it) - It took me probably less than an hour and I wasn't rushing. Be careful as heck when popping off the stock grille from the vehicle

:30-45 (It was 115° in the garage) as 4RunnerRVA stated be careful taking the upper grille off. There are tabs on each side the I had to push down to get it to release also you will need to support the bumper with one hand that was not addressed in the video I watched. I should have taken a pic sorry. If needed I can pull off the top cover super easy. Good luck and it’s worth every penny.

 

Maybe less than an hour. The biggest things to keep in mind would be popping off the stock grill gently and also when you place the new TRD grill with the tape, make sure you WARM / HEAT UP the section you're going to place the grill, before you place the replacement grill. Otherwise, you will stick it on, and won't be able to wiggle it to center the grille..

 

Help me understand what you mean here.. are you referring to the grille that you screw into the upper portion or the toyota garnish that has the 3m adhesive on the back?

They say to have that area warm so that it sticks better but I almost feel you will be fine as long as it is not freezing cold out

 

He's probably talking about the garnish with the 3M tape. I did it myself, and that's the only part I heated up. Well, the part of the body of the truck that the garnish goes on got heated up, not the tape itself.

You might be okay not heating it up, but better safe than sorry. Hit it with a heat gun first.

They dont seem to match yours. Since you bought from Larry H Miller. Im assuming you’re local to SD Ca?

 

those parts are for a 2019

 

I also have a 2020. These are all the parts I needed. I did all of the work myself, and everything's together fine. It's been fine for 2 months now.

Yep i just installed these same parts on my 2020 4R TRD ORP. Guy at the dealer was insisting i needed a new painted upper portion.. (which i didnt) with my shop account both parts after tax came out to $499. And some change. Here are sum pics!! So stoked with the look and perfect OEM fitment, no ragedy aftermarket knock off! Buy once cry once!
