4Runner spindle same as Tacoma

    Got in an accident and looks like the spindle or knuckle got bent. does anyone know if the 4runner spindle are the same as the Tacoma. i checked the part numbers and they are different

    No idea what the difference (if any) there is; they look identical, including all mounting points; and I just gussetted mine, and the gussets were same part number for both Taco and 4Runner.

    But I also saw the same as you; where they show different part numbers for the spindles, including aftermarket options. I'd think at the very least, if they were the same, that the aftermarket options would show compatibility for both?

    Maybe one has slightly more bend or overall length to it?

    thank you for your help. i did some research and found that there is a difference in the bore were the wheel bearing mounts to. decided to buy a new one for the dealer.

    That's interesting, and I'm a bit curious now... I think I have a spare 3rd gen taco wheel bearing sitting around in the garage. Once the paint has cured on my spindles, I'm going to do a test fit and see (assuming I can find it, lol).
