    Hey All,

Purchased a used 2019 T4R TRD Off Road just last week. CEL, TRAC OFF and Multi-Terrain Select Indicator lights all came on yesterday evening. MTSI was blinking. DTC below:

    P0121 - Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "A" Circuit
P043E Se - Evaporative Emission System Leak Detection Reference Orifice
P043F Se - Evaporative Emission System Leak Detection Reference Orifice
P2401 - Evaporative Emission System Leak Detection Pump Control Circuit
P2402 - Evaporative Emission System Leak Detection Pump Control Circuit
P2419 - Evaporative Emissions System Switching Valve Control Circuit Low

    - I checked the gas cap...looks fine...on tight.
    - Tried turning the Multi-Terrain on/off, but it wouldn't turn off or engage the light kept blinking. (I did go into 4LO)
    - I cleared the codes and drove around a bit. All clear so far and the MTSI light turned off , but expect they will all return.
    - Once I cleared the codes, I tested the Multi-Terrain, Crawl Control, A-TRAC, and locking differential functions. All worked with no issues.

Anybody else have similar issues? Seems to be an issue with the Evaporative Emission System ...and maybe a seprate issue with the MTSI & TRAC OFF lights?! Any insight would be much appreciated!

Just as a precaution - check the wiring in the engine bay for any chewed wiring...just saying. That's what threw a CEL & Trac Off light on mine. Not saying that's it, but it wouldn't hurt to check.

This was posted in the other forum today in the Fuel Pump Recall thread. Might be related to your issue.

glwood54, thanks. Everything looked good, but I'll look a little closer.
    mcat707, appreciate the link.
grant318is, yes. I'm going to wait a few days and see if the lights come back on before I take it in.

Wanted to post the solution for those searching/interested.

The Toyota dealership found the same codes and started searching for the a leak in the evap. system. They did a smoke test and found the lead at the Charcoal Canister. The replaced the canister and all issues seem to be resolved. If any issues persist I'll update the post. Thank you for those who provided input. If anybody has history with a similar issue that persisted, please let me know. TY :)

Appreciate the update. I see your rig is a 2019. By any chance was the fuel pump replaced under the Safety Recall?

I just had my fuel pump replaced under the recall a few days ago on my 2015. Drove over 700 miles, so far so good.

Hey mcat707. I'm not sure.....I know it's hasn't been done since we've owned it, but we purchased the vehicle just two weeks ago.

Haven't received any recall information, but also not sure if it would have been done before we purchased the vehicle?!

The fix is simple , i was adding extra light in the and connected with fuse box , got this issue , checked online , but no issue , finally i figured out , as a logic
fix is .. disconnect battery from positive side or negative side , leave disconnect for a minute , and then connect , star the vehicle and you will good to go ..
this will reset the car ECU leave engine start for 5 minutes so ECU program itself ..
