I need to clay bar it and wax more often to build up a good coating, it's not smooth to the touch yet, I can still feel the imperfections

Galactic gray is a magnifying glass for paint imperfections

Better than adding a spacer or moving it up a setting..

1/4-1/2 top spacer won't be seen and is a lot less work. Why wouldnt you?

Mine are at 2.5" with the FJ springs. I'm gonna do .85 with the eibach's and my 1/2" top plate.

What are your measurements from the center of the hub to the bottom of your fender from both sides? I'm trying to see if I'll get more lift than my FJ setup

you def will. i got like 1.5" OVER stock with daystar. IDR my measurements.

but @wnelax04sr5 and @LTDSC - the spring gives 1.6" lift, the billies give .85 and the thicker top plate gives .65 or whatever makes it 3"

I just love the way this setup rides and I don't wanna do 886s unless I have to. At that point I may just go full tard and get icons or something. Buddy on TW is selling fox's with 700 lb king springs, they're in rough shape and need a rebuild, but may be worth it

LT kings IMO can crank to height you like and maintain down travel.

I wouldnt go 886 at all costs. Friend had some on his and rode like a tank.

definitely. itll lower down a good bit. Maybe with the weight of the bumper and 886 it wont be as bad of a ride.

My friends taco with stock coils and billies rides really smooth.

Fuck dude. I'm so glad I got my fox 2.0 piggy back shocks for $200

The only issue is New England kicked their ass. The brand new body looks like it's 10 years old. I need to figure out some sort of protection for them

I spray off my 5100s all the time with wheel and tire cleaner. They've been on since December and have seen a ton of road salt, but have no corrosion on them. If I can keep them clean I think they'll stay looking ok

yeah josh is crazy hah. I dunno, I'm sure with the bumper 886s will be fine, btu im also worried about the shock being set at .85, adding some compression to the spring and not dampening aggressively enough

meh, true. the adjustable kit is just $$$ and I'd have to buy it with new springs which I would then have to resell which is a huge pain

its 429 for the freaking springs and collars. thats insanity. I'd get 150 back for the springs at most. thats 300 for that. May as well do 886s
