    What happens if you accidentally push the start button while your 4Runner is moving at high speed or at least moving? Will is suddenly brake because engine stops?

    nothing happens. Car won’t shut off unless it’s out of drive :)

    The owners manual has procedures for emergency stopping the engine, press and hold for more than 2 seconds or press it briefly 3 times or more in succession.

    I have never tried it.
