Always noticed the OEM backup camera was pointed a bit to low on the stock Entune screen... just upgraded to a T9 head unit and WOW the large clear image really shows how much screen is eatin up by the lic. plate and bumper.

Anyone know how to adjust the OEM camera to point more toward the road and less straight down onto the ground?

    Thanks all!

Just taking a guess here, but you could first checkout new T-9 head unit’s settings to see if it can be adjusted in there buried options; secondly call there tech support because your not gonna be the only one to experience that issue since it’s designed for the 4RUNNER and thirdly take off back interior panel of the lift gate and see if you could rotate camera 180 degrees. Good luck!

How do you like the T-9?

From messing with the camera area, it doesn't look like we can even get to the lens to move it.

After looking at it some more and comparing it to the new 1080p Dash Cam, I think just getting a new backup cam would be the best option. Question is, is there one that will fit the OEM camera hole?

As for the T9, it's freaking excellent. Zero issues. Clear screen, fast, I got Torque on there feeding from a bluetooth OBD2, it all just WORKS and works well.

Sorry I wasn’t much help on the rear camera issue, but I’m glad you posted this mainly because I would love to purchase one of those T-9’s in the future! Good luck on finding a replacement camera.

Yes, I've installed a lot of stereos in my day and this was one of the easiest. Sound quality of the radio, hdd music, online music (Pandora) all are great. The Video section (where I loaded movies) is a bit lower in db, but i'm sure i can adjust the EQ to fix that. But if playing a movie from the default video software (by just clicking on the movie file) you really have to crank up the volume as it's way to low.

Still trying to figure out how to make the "Video" button the Default video player. Using Android 10 and trying to do this through the Settings > app > app settings, is not giving me the option.

I just found out the rear camera is more towards the driver side after I installed a Hitch step. Don't know if it's supposed to be like that.
