I'm sore as hell, his tow hitch went right above the frame and hit the motor. Airbags didn't deploy.

$622 + $40 to ship them to DSM. You can save a few bucks by going with eibach springs, but they're just like $3 cheaper each.

    That's not terrible.

Got my caliper replaced and rotors turned. Shits butter now. Finally I can brake without shuddering.

That's for the rebuild and new springs installed?

There is a YouTube video for rebuilding icons. My friend did his recently and said it wasn't that hard, he even converted them to extended travel IIRC. I might give it a shot myself when the time comes

Could be worse I suppose. My bypasses were outrageously expensive to rebuild. I guess the blue isn't terrible. Just don't like stuff that stands out.

    0927151016a.jpg

Yea that was the cost I paid at the end for everything. Seems easy enough to rebuild but I'll have to wait till I get my own home. No room for a bench or vise so I'll be bitching up a storm if I attempted it myself. 4 car garage at minimum for me though. Which is a little hard to find around my area.

Not a fan of the blue either huh?

Kinda want to figure out a way to drop 2" of ride height so I can drive the 4runner to work occasionally. But thinking it won't be worth it. My parking lot has a 6' 2“ clearance and I'm at around 6' 4"/5" ish. Could goto 33s but that's another 1k.

You gotta get one of those dtf kits

Yea your ass wouldn't even be able to walk through it. Just realized my mom's stock gx would barely clear if it had a roof rack so this project would be pointless.

I think he's still developing his 4wd kit. There's no glass wide enough for 4runners for that kit anyway.

LT is sex, but for what a really nice setup cost, I would prefer to SAS.

This was the dilemma I went through with my Tacoma for about 4 months. Then I bought the Runner and solved that issue.
