I would be- but I have to find a friend with a 3D printer- Im going to ask around. I still have the template. Its a nice firm fit but you may have to sand the final project corners down so as not to scratch the paint off the pocket when putting in. Also, I would suggest after sanding to put a couple coats of flat black on so it blends in seamlessly with the dash...

What are the led lights in the fog light pocket?

 

That would be Aiden James Custom DRL's- great product...horrible wait times and customer service. It took me 8 months to get mine, but I do love them. If you have the $250 and the patience to wait for them, then I highly recommend them.

 

Did you paint them on the vehicle? Did you clean and degrease and or skuff them up? How many coats?

 

I had them professionally painted before they were installed at the same time the hood and hood scoop were painted.

Np. I would not hesitate to try plastidip-dip though. Very forgiving stuff and super easy to peel off if that’s what you want. Irigjanly I orders down vinyl and tried vinyl wrapping them myself.. I spent hours and one side ended up looking amazing and then at the very end after spending like three or four hours I stretched it too much and it ripped doh!! So yeah I had them painted lol.

 

Did the paint shop just look up the Toyota paint code for the valances? I'm interested in getting mine painted as well and just don't want to tell them, "any old flat black will do." If I'm going to take the time to remove my valances, I want them done right.

 

Nope. I knew the guy. He said “I have a cool flat black. And I said “that’s good enough for me;” and they ended up looking Bad Ass. Not trying to get into the intricacies, but in my opinion, flat black is “Flat Black.”
