Shit I rubbed hard on these. That's why I had to crank it up more because I rubbed on washer bottle and the pinch welds. Now I'm back to where I was.

I need to get around to banging down the pinch weld too. Might as well since I've got the coil overs off and the 4runner is on stands. Prepping to goto Tahoe sometime next month or later.

Also 650s vs 700s, not sure which to get

I might go for 700s. If it's too harsh maybe I'll goto Jerry and have one of those full 1/4" steel skids mocked up. Hell my LS is on the metric equivalent to close to 800#.

I like the new Taco. I wish they changed the cab more, it looks like they were lazy and reused the cab and doors. But it looks pretty good IMO

I love my 2nd gen V6. It has plenty of power for my DDing, I'm going to regear it with 4.10's and 285 tires. I do wish I had more power for towing the runner but I'm pushing it's limits.

v8 to v6 would be a difficult switch, having had the v6 for so long i really don't doubt it though, but if i had more power id struggle with the idea of having less. could always swap it....

I have my dash recall letter but the dealer said they haven't seen a 4Runner dash yet...... I would figure it being a 2003 Toyota would have sent a few replacement dashes out.

they have to order them on a case by case basis. they wont just send them out free without any knowledge of possible upcoming jobs.

unless you have the service tag created which orders the dash, its never going to magically "show up"
