i get too nervous with the traffic being hit or miss. I usually top it off when it hits near 1/4.

Any double dins you guys suggest? Stock deck/amp let go this morning. I don't care much for nav because those who charge for map updates can go kill themselves, so I thought maybe the pioneer 5700bhs.

    Appradio 4 works too

Yea I've got a avic d3 in my 4runner and it sounds pretty good to my ears. Alpine is probably my other brand but most of those are well out of my price range last I checked.

Edit - Ok I lied, Alpine is definitely not the brand I was thinking of

I have an AVIC 8000-NEX, I have no complaints, start up is fast, sounds great, my kenwood was slow as shit and would randomly reboot.

I think I've settled on the 4100NEX. Has a SD card slot so that's useful to me. 8000/8100NEX is too rich for my blood lol.

Yea I'd go broke really quick if I bought that. The dash kit for my LS430 is $350-400 as is, and its the only one available too. No Chinese knock offs as far as I've searched. I'll probably add in a new deck sub and amp while I'm at it.

App radio 4. My dad just got it for his truck. It's pretty damn nice. Newegg has it for the cheapest.

Yep. The price definitely made me think twice about pursuing this mod. Friend gave me a couple old Alpine amps so might add in some components to the mix.

I considered that one really only because it's the only reasonably priced head unit with a capacitive touch screen, but other than that it doesn't really do anything for me.

was a good time. I had lowered my front end and scrubbed my pinch weld a few times just wheeling so i didnt attempt to jump. Its already been cranked back up.

My fogs no longer work. Im guessing the relay killed itself while wheeling.

Finally found someone to make a jig off my stock manifolds then use it to weld on shorty headers. He's keeping the jig too for those of you that want a ready to bolt on set of shorties with cats. He'll weld them up for cheap too. Beats paying some unknown exhaust shop for half a days work.

Absolutely the most annoying generation siennas to do spark plugs on. Transverse mount engines are straight from the devil himself.

Yes sir. It's my fuel saving commuter. 4runner has gotten neglected because of the Lexus. But I think a new set of wheels will come next for the 4runner.
