I don't know but curious what you mean by wiring tray. Something more than just a plate to mount relays or fusebox onto?

MBRP catback is louder than expected. I like it but wonder what wife will say once she finally drives it again.
Got the cheaper version, painted it black myself rather than buying their black version.

Cleanest it's been in a while. Paint on the body work finally cured enough i could wash & wax recently.

So a few things, finally got my lift installed, and with it I got a set of 5" side shooter lights from Ironman 4x4. Retail around $230. These guys are bright, but too large for my likes. I'll let them go here for $175 with the harness if someone is looking for some big boy lights.

Ahh man I have too many other priorities right now otherwise I'd take you up on that and try to get you to help me install them haha! How's the lift so far?

Over the past couple days I replaced my fan clutch, thermostat, bypassed my rear heater, and flushed/replaced my coolant. Started running hot only during highway cruising speeds and especially during cruising speed climbs, otherwise nice and cool even under load. Test drove it last night and ran much cooler so hopefully that's the end of that for now.

Planning on doing the northern loop of the S.C. Adventure Route with my best friend (5th gen brethren) next month so gearing up for that as well. Stay safe everybody

I've never heard of the S.C. Adventure Route, sounds cool. Is it dirt roads and such?

Lift is great, the suspension and a lot smoother than expected in a pleasant way.

Yep, it's a mostly forest service road route with optional alternate trails all throughout for added difficulty.

Finally put in UCAs. Alignment could still use a bit of tweaking but not bad on today's ride.

Looking good Dan, heavy duty arms! Was your passenger side worse to do than drivers side? That's always been my experience.

Pass side had less clearance for the bolt than driver but i would not say it was any harder. Passenger side had a metal line (AC I think) but it popped out of its rubber clip easily and flexed out of the way enough to get the bolt head by it. Job was overall easier than Tacoma was.

Totally, I had to bend the passenger side inner tube on the Tacoma if I recall.

Yeah, Tacoma was bending metal and unclipping wire retainers just to get the bolt out.

Let me know how that trip goes, I found the Gaia maps and looked it over, looks pretty awesome. You need any help with the rig before you take off?

    Yeah man, I love Gaia.

I don't think so, but if something comes up I may hit you up. I built my own quad-inflator/morrflate yesterday, super easy and saved $100+ not buying from Morrflate. All that's left on the to-do list is the rear diff. breather mod, rear diff. oil replace, and an oil change. Only thing I'm really struggling with is replacing my rear recovery point I lost when I removed the old hitch - we broke all four bolts and I'm having trouble getting them removed from the frame holes so I can install the new one.

Otherwise she's running way cooler now after all the other fixes. Temp gauge hasn't even tried to get above just under half way.

SCAR trip was a big success, definitely can't wait to get back out there and see the southern loop. Here's some favorites, and the rigs stayed pretty clean because it poured rain once every day!

Rig also performed beautifully, but we didn't even have to use 4WD as much as we'd expected. I highly recommend supplementing the loop along with GAIA gpx and use the USFS overlays and do your own exploring.

Hey @mem4runner how did the truck do? Any issues? I know you were worried about a few small leaks, but I assume all was good? Also, let's plan some trips, I'm heading to Colorado Sept 10th!

The rig exceeded my expectations, no issues aside from a squeaky PS belt. That transfer case leak seems to have worsened slightly, it's actually at the shop having that seen about as we speak along with new belts. Just trying to get those loose ends tied up by a shop before heading back out in a couple weeks..

That's awesome! My girl and I are headed out to NM, AZ, UT, and CO for labor day week - what are you guys getting into?

Also, check this out, lifted a friends 3rd Gen the other day. I haven't done a 3rd Gen before that, but now we have. The UCA setup is different than 4th / 5th Gens, so lessons learned :) Ready to plan your lift when you are ready to do it now.

That baby blue is an OEM color! :)
Edit: He's adjusted the fronts since this pic. It was sitting a little high in the rear.

Do me a favor, when you get to actually doing it, hit EVERYTHING with PB Blaster a few days in advance. Then the day before. Then the day of....older vehicles can be a PITA :)

Can anyone recommend a shop in the Memphis area for suspension work? Not looking for serious off road just improving the floaty 5th gen feel. Probably an Eibach or Billstein shocks. Thanks
