I heard 1" is actually 2" but I have no idea. I have to deal with a 9'6" parking garage so that matters.

hey turbonetic, welcome to the forum! Your question, and variances of it, is the most asked and discussed on the forum, maybe along with tire sizes and makes. There’s a lot of information and experience here, you might enjoy reading those threads. A simple answer to your question is to look at a TRDPro. It has +1” in the front, with stock rear suspension the same as all other 4 Runners. It’s almost level.
A spacer is only one option to add 1”. A better one would be an adjustable coilover, of which there are several good choices.

Thanks, I've done lots of searching around and most also lift the rear too, I just want to get the front up but I don't want to do a 2" and have it end up higher than the rear.

.5" thick spacer provides 1" actual lift. IFS is a 2:1 ratio. I am a dealer for Cornfed Suspension and sell the 4th gen front leveling kits for $69 with free shipping. PM me to place your order!

Just curious, 20164Runner SR5, what does a .5” spacer add to a stock rear spring?

For the rear .5" thick is .5" lift. Rear is solid axle which is a 1:1 ratio. IFS geometry changes at the upper and lower control arm which is where you get the 2:1 ratio.

This is unrelated to spacers but have a question with adjustable coils I put in. With a stock 4runner, No KDSS, no extra weight, is there anything that would keep a 1/2" rise from giving one inch? On one rear adjustable coil I was supposed to get 2" and got 3/4". Had a similar issue on the front. The manufacturer said I need to adjust the torsion bar?? far as I know 4runners don't have one? Not sure if the sway bar link would crank up one side or another

There are no torsion bars on a 4Runner and rears are not adjustable. Front coil overs are adjustable depending on which one’s you went with. If you need to add lift to the back or level it side to side I can absolutely help with that.

I've got the eibach rear adjustable coils. They are fairly new. They market them saying you can adjust on the vehicle in minutes. Truth is one needs to pull the coil. Anyway they are saying something on my runner is pulling down thier spring. Personally no think they are full of it. I've ran fox, Bilstein, toytecs and never had this.
It adjusted for 2" and I only got 3/4

Do you have KDSS? Maybe something binding there? I’ve lifted KDSS 4Runners before without issue with you never know. Did a 2” rear recently and didn’t even disconnect the rear sway bar.
