I know what you mean, I was hesitant at first, but after doing some reading, I took the chance. The Hellas have been in for 10 months, no burn or damage to the inside of the housing. I added a harness just for additional safety measure.

Just a harness extension? Do you turn them on regularly or just here and there?

Yes, extension wiring harnesses. I use them almost everyday on the way to work and whenever I can.

Thanks, yeah on 285. The Toyos look less aggressive (I think) than the Falken but they used only minor weight to balance and ran it up to 80 hwy and rode very smooth. I have the FN rims but I think a spacer on the pro rims can have the same clearance??
Right now has 3/8" rake. Just waiting for replacement rear springs from eibach to get it to 1"

Sounds good!! Yeah the Toyos are like the Nitto’s less aggressive but very smooth riding. I wish I could have stayed with the Falkens I liked the look. Too much balancing issues. Did you notice much difference in power loss with the 285’s?

I do not notice a power loss. The tires are 46lbs, 7lbs over stock dunlaps and the rims are less weight but not sure how much. So glad i went 285....I worried to much for nothing!

I plan on moving up to 285’s as soon as I decide which way I’m lifting my Pro a little.

Ordered these today also. I guess for $25 these seem like a worthwhile upgrade

I think depending on the trim level, some come with H11's or H16's. (At least on the Tacoma).

Those lights look very nice, I'm using the same type. Just wondering, which camera did you use to take that picture?

I know what you mean. I was nervous about the switch to 285's as well, but after some research, I found that 285's are no big deal if you're careful about the weight. Mine come in at 42 lbs. :p

I don't notice it in the gas pedal, but my mileage dropped by 1mpg.

    Couldn't be happier.

Very nice set up! I contacted mean green and he told me it is a 200 amp alternator. If you end up needing/wanting more voltage i suggest hitting up Singer for the toyota voltage booster harness. As long as your 4runner is 2019 and older, it still uses the right plug. Its all plug and play and works with stock and HO alts. Gives you more voltage for charging AGMs and to get full potential out of your amps.

I ordered a 280 amp high output alternator and a voltage booster from Singer Alternators.

Pretty cool, Mike Singer also drives a 4runner, a 2014, so he has experience with our vehicles.

Next week i will be doing the big 3 in 0 gauge OFC and running a couple runs of 0 awg OFC wire to the amp location, plus installing the larger amp.

Probably go with the C4 fabrication passenger battery tray for a dual battery setup.

Did get the new 12" subs installed with the new custom D4S box. Looks and sounds great. But these sundown subs are power hungry and the little 1000rms amp is not enough power. Ill change that next week.

I used to run Goodyear Wranglers with Kevlar on my 1999 4runner, and will go back to them when the Nitto's on my 2020 TRD Pro 4runner need replacing: https://www.goodyear.ca/en-CA/tires...ave&webprodid=2732&productcode=75804257200000 This is my choice for compromise between off road and pavement, plus long tire life and quiet ride.

You can see the full Goodyear Wrangler line up here: https://www.goodyear.ca/en-CA/tires/search/2020_Toyota_4Runner_TRD-Pro

I still have not replaced the vanity or license plate bulbs yet since I don't see a reason to have brighter lights on the plates and brighter vanity lights might affect night vision.

Who cares? This never shows everything anyway.
I got one of these Antics Design fuse covers for the 2020 and a couple of their grommets.

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/2020-Toyota-4Runner-Black-Fuse-Box-Cover-with-Side-Slots/153973030117
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/5th-Genera...er-firewall-wire-grommet-2-packs/153924950482

Has anyone else used the Antics fuse cover on their 2020 yet? I'm not sure I'm getting it to snap all the way in. The two anchor holes don't seem to want to anchor very well. I tried putting the stock cover back on and had no problems. I'm going to drive for a few days and see if the Antics one stays in place.

I haven't tried the grommets yet. I don't really have any need for them right now, but I was getting the fuse cover and got the grommets anyway. I'm also not sure if the grommets will work on the 2020, but they probably will.

Installed Caltrend Neosupreme seat covers today, the fit is pretty much spot on, happy with the results.
Up next is the TRD pro grille mod then I'll stop blowing money into this beast :)
