I was looking at you pics and missed this post.
That sure looks like a Prado alright.

I had a Hilux for a shared company car in Djibouti Africa. My Project Manager (#1 guy) had a Prado. Both were 4x4, diesel, with manual transmissions. Fun to drive. We were invited to a Business Fair down town and he had me drive him and #2 in his Prado. No pressure.

I found that you have to drive aggressively defensive - figure on applying all the corporate US safety standards to 3rd world Africa where most drivers aren't sure which side of the road to drive on.

Do you have enough clearance to open the tailgate all the way with the trailer hooked up?

Cool truck! It might be possible to mount your spare on the cargo door with that configuration. It would be nice to get the spare from underneath the vehicle. personally, I'd find a way to delete the running boards, but i know most people like them. That winch bumper DRobs posted looks really cool too. The winch on my 4 Runner gives me the extra confidence when I'm alone.

Definitely looking for a rear bumper with a swing out down the road. Front bumper and winch isn’t needed right now. I usually go out with wife and kids and keep it simple.

Hit up a new logging road and discovered a new lake we didn’t know was so close to the cabin. And of course the essentials you have to bring when traveling with kids.

Alright all you guys with KDSS system and have a lean on the passenger side. Mine is lower by 1/4” in the front passenger and 3/4” in the rear.

What is the best option to get rid of the lean?
-loosen the valve and drive up on a wood block
    -KDSS spacers
    -KDSS delete
    -deal with the stupid lean

Just installed Ironman 20mm coil spacer in the right rear and all is leveled now. Definitely recommend going with a taller coil or spacer on the right side if you have KDSS.

last weekend took it out on a logging road outside packwood, wa for some firewood.
