Hi all! I'm a new member here at 4Runners.com! Really glad I found this forum since I'm now in the market for a brand new 2015 4Runner! I was hoping to get all the expert advice from this forum so that I can make an educated decision on this purchase....

I'm debating between these two particular 4Runners ->

    Trail ($35,584):

    SR5 ($36,905):

I'm a bit surprised that the Trail is cheaper than the SR5. Am I wrong in assuming that the Trail is a level 'higher' than the SR5? Color choice isn't the utmost importance since I'm fine with either black or gray. The biggest factor for me is the foldable, third row seating...which is available for both.

I was hoping to get everyone's thoughts on which is the better value...And what is the best price to negotiate for each of these 4Runners...Really want to get the most value out of the purchase at the best price...don't we all! :)

Any info and suggestions would be great and I look forward to being active in this forum!

    Cheers all!

If it was me, I'd go with the trail. better looking, hood scoop, better wheel and tire package, and its less money!

Thanks for the reply my friend....

Do you have any suggestion on the lowest price you think I could offer to close the deal on the Trail?

I don't know much about the pricing on the new ones vs. true value, so my best suggestion would be a site like truecar

Compare all the features on both and make sure you understand them. I would take whatever is more appealing given price. Sounds like the Trial is probably baseline (no kdss, sunroof, slide out deck in back, etc). But SR5 probably doesn't have those either.
