    Hi everyone,

So I've been loving my 2020 4R, even the basic Entune system which for me is still an upgrade! I normally have my phone on Bluetooth and an old Ipod I connect through the single USB port to play my music collection. We have our first road trip coming up though, and I would really like to find a way to get my phone plugged into the Entune (hardwire is the only way) so that I can have Maps on the screen, but then it won't accept my Ipod (via Bluetooth) for music. Has anyone figured out any kind of fix for this that is not buying a new HU?

Please share if you have any info to share. Thanks!

Not sure on Apple products, but on our 2020, I can use Android Auto for map while still have XM on, is there an Aux plug in the console? I figure in the Audio menu you can select sources, I just don't recall if there's an option for Aux input.

Who cares? This never shows everything anyway.
There's no aux in the 2020.

Correct, there is no Aux. I'm now wondering, is it possible to upgrade my Entune system itself, for example, to include integrated navigation? This might actually be a good fix, because then I wouldn't need to connect my Android for navigation, and I could use my hardwire connection for my music. Has anyone done this?

Move all music to your phone (Apple Music). This way you have navigation maps and music available through carplay simultaneously.

Finding the entune system is pretty basic. Only compatible app is alexa???? Love the Apple Carplay but wish it was wireless. If carplay is used for maps, can you select BT in the audio source?

Didn't know you can get 2020 without navigation in the USA, all Canadian models have navigations.

IF it's anything like Subaru's units (which I assume has lot of similarities, this unit reminds me a lot of my Outback's headunit), you will need to upgrade the headunit and a module that allows it to display direction on the center console, in short, not easy.

Thanks for the responses! Apple play could work if need be, although I'd rather not pay when I already have all my music on the Ipod I'm trying to connect.

Unfortunately, once the phone is wired in, it won't take an extra Bluetooth source; I tried.

I think Downytide might be right and I have to start saving for a new head unit. I still plan on going to the dealer to see if there is anything I haven't thought of. As much as I love upgrades, I'm overall happy w/ the Entune and head units seem to be pretty pricey. I would prefer to put my money towards performance stuff, since that list is still so long :D

I think a Garmin unit is probably easiest way, may not be most visual pleasing but it'll be way better than the OEM navigation, they are pretty cheap now and the functionality is WAY better.
