Weird issue. My 5th gen 4Runner passenger side front amber marker light is off (when the car is running, or after it stops and headlights are still on) but the driver side is on. The passenger side one will flash when i activate or deactivate the alarm. I got some new bulbs, but it seems like they would not make a difference, since the bulb seems ok, and they look like single filament bulbs.

    any ideas?

I did say that, but have not installed them, as i wasn't sure they would solve the problem.
Also they are LED, but I guess they would still be able to handle both levels of brightness that the dual filaments managed?

It makes sense that the OEM bulbs are dual filament, and that it was just difficult for me to see through the lens and into the bulb without removing them, to see that fact.
    Thanks MeefZah!

Yes as MeefZah stated it’s probably one of the filaments. So try the new led.

Try putting the factory bulbs back in. Sometimes LED’s can cause weird electrical issues.
