Hi all, I just joined the board and wanted to introduce myself. I have a 2013 Trail that I purchased last year, it's my first 4Runner, and my first Toyota ever. It had 79k on it when I bought it in February of 2019, and it currently has just over 103k on it.

I haven't really had a chance to do any off-roading or overland-y things with it yet, but it's been great at hauling around my mountain bike, and my dogs love the roll down rear window!

I was planning on a mild build, I currently have RSG sliders that I need to paint and install, and a full set of RCI skids that need to be bolted on. After that maybe a 2-inch lift, I'm thinking Dobinsons, and maybe one size up from stock in an all-terrain tire.

Only other thing is maybe some sort of draw system / sleeping platform on the back, so I can have my gear and dogs in it at the same time.

I look forward to checking out the forum and seeing everyone's rigs!

Love how you’ve kept the original TE wheels. I liked them so much I went out and found some for my Tundra!

Thanks! You know it's funny, the first thing that I bought for this was a set of TRD Pro wheels when Toyota was running the big sale last year. I dragged my feet deciding on what tires to get them, and in the meantime I decided that I really liked the stock wheels, so I ended up selling the TRDs.

I've never seen those on a tundra before, they look really good!

    Almost forgot!

Baker the chocolate lab just turned 11, Hunter the black lab mix is two and a half. Not sure exactly what he is, I got him as a rescue. I think he might have some German Shorthaired Pointer in him. Whatever he is, he's a good boy! 20200605_125410.jpg

Thanks! I honestly didn't know these things even existed until I found this one. I just happened to stumble upon it listed on cars.com because I forgot to put in the year when I searched, LOL. Previously I was searching for 14 and up. I saw the ad for this one, and I was like wait, what is THAT?

I went to look at it, I don't think I'd ever seen one of these in person up until that point. Or maybe if I'd seen them, I just hadn't noticed them. But even now that I own one, I very rarely see them around.
