What have you done to your 5th Gen 4Runner today?

Decided to swap out my grill with this one that has the Raptor lights on it.

She rides really really well. The rear is slightly softer than the Black 4Runners IMS struts. I at 4" up front and 3" in the rear. We are hoping it will settle a little bit. It is supposed to be 2.5", so we will see after a few days and some miles.

 

Whoo..4 in front yeah, keep an eye on it in hopes in settles. Are the CV angles angry?

 

They aren't terrible. We settled .5" on a 5 minute drive. So hoping it will settle some more over the next few days. I was hoping to be around 2.5"-3"

 

Replaced “Blower Motor & Cabin Air Filter” today on my 2016 4RTP because for the last 2 months the noise from the bearings was about to drive me nuts! Took about 20 mins but I waited til about sunset to change; think it got 102 degrees today here in Tennessee.

After a couple months of going back and forth about upgrading from the factory entune unit i finally bit the bullet and ordered a new one tonight. Thanks in part to the TPMS reader i was using failing on me after 6 months or so.

Kenwood Excelon DMX907s with the idatalink maestro module ordered. car play and android auto, both wireless and wired, screen mirroring, about a 7" capacitive touchscreen, and with the module i will get tire pressure readouts, engine temps, engine codes, gauges, and more. For the last week I have kept going back and forth on which unit to get, but the crutchfield people, 2 different ones, seem to think this one is the best option at its price point that has the best interface with the maestro unit. We will see.

 

Did you go with aftermarket or OEM blower motor?

 

It sits pretty flush. I had a friend helped me with the install. Maybe I lucked out, but all we did was pushed everything as far forward as we can before tightening all the bolts down.

After getting Boat out of lake & ready to leave my wife couldn't close the window I had previously put down. I tried all other three from their doors, nothing. Got home pulled up manual & did a brief T-shooting per the page. Any quick suggestions as to why the widows can not be closes via respected door control? The window lock on D/S is NOT engaged. I have printed the pg from manual to follow tonight after work. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

 

Installed the Eibach Stage 1 kit and 285 BFG KO2's over the weekend. She looks and drives great!

 

If when holding down the button the little the light is flashing on and off, Try holding the window control button down for 5 seconds. If the light stops flashing your regulator should be reset. I would also check the condition of your main Battery.

 

I like to drive with the windows open. My interior would look like that if I didn't clean it every few days.

Yeah I looked at the cover, (it's in glove box because of Anytime Fog light mod pwr take off wires) was tired & sun burnt after boating all day.

Installed my SSO bumper and Rigid Lightbar yesterday. I Still have to install the brackets on the sides today. I think it looks great!

 

I moved my ARB compressor over to make room for the Auxbeam switch panel. Now I just need some fun things to connect to it!

 

Worth the $210 for it? Does it stay on the set profile until manually changed, or does it default to a profile each startup?

The switches feel like they're "LOCKED" Didn't feel like checking fuses after cutting grass & then dinner, Didn't see one that stood out for windows. I'll look in the manual. Just weird how the switch allows to open window BUT can not pull up on switch.

 

I'm gonna try pg 148 from 4RUNNER (U) OM3584BU) see what happens No luck. When holding the button down after it's open for 4 or more sec I hear a relay clicking in the door.

 

I’m throwing crap to see if it will stick.

Motor seem like it working? Window is in the track, clips on the bottom in place. I’m trying to think of things as it sounds like your switch is working if your hearing a noises in the door when using button.

again, I am tossing uneducated thoughts out.

 

Just reread this, are you saying the switch does not move when you try to close the window, but will go down.
