Oh ok I wasnt aware they were different except for that sensor plate in front. I ordered the same part numbers that someone posted earlier and mine wasnt notched. Sits flush and doesn't push back far enough to interfere with that sensor plate. Not sure maybe the venture model has different set up.

Depends if you're looking for OEM or Aftermarket. Not sure if you can find aftermarket for the 2020 unless you want to buy the 2019 and below and modify to cut the notch for a 2020.

I posted the part numbers above so you can search around. I've ordered a number of OEM parts from McGeorge Toyota and have been very pleased. I've found that OEM parts typically vary from place to place and usually it's the shipping that will get you. I've had the best luck with McGeorge on pricing but it could be because they're on the east coast and the shipping is cheaper for me.

I'm not sure if anyone has had experience with Overland Depot, but they seem to make good products so I contacted them about the 2020 Pro grille. They said it should be out in the next month or two, so I'm going to wait for that. I figure I can get the grille + raptor lights for ~$250 which is way cheaper than OEM.

They are pretty good company. I just got the raptor lights for my oem pro grill from them.

Thanks for the pics, they helped when i installed the grill on my 2020. I didn't have a dremel so I started using a utility knife to cut the notch. I gave up half way and drove to Walmart to buy a $20 rotary tool and it made the job so much easier.

I wired them to go on when I start the truck so they act as daytime running lights. I used the fuse box in the engine bay because it was a shorter run. Buy a "Add A Circuit" from your local auto parts store and a 10 amp fuse. The fuse you want to use is marked "INJ NO.3". It is all the way on the left, 6th fuse from the bottom.

They are Method Race Wheels 702 Trail Series. They are supposed to have this thing called "Bead Grip Technology" where you can air your tires down without having to worry about damaging a tire bead, kinda like bead locks. I have not tried it yet. 702 | Matte Black https://www.methodracewheels.com/products/702-matte-black-1

A lot of local dealers will price match the popular oem online retailers. They’ve got nothing to lose. Just show them the online price on your phone. They make a few keyboard strokes, hit enter, and the parts are delivered to them. No skin off their back. You pick up the parts.

No way, my eyes must be bad but I've been looking at these and the 701's for a week or two now. What a coincidence! I think I'm more convinced now that I've seen them on a runner... that and SCS being out of stock of everything lol.

No I found it cheaper on OfferUp. They offer shipping. Then I just did the cut out mod for the sensor on my 2020.

Wow, that’s great thanks! Did you have to do any cutting on the upper mesh grille? I was reading there was some of that involved as well?

Yes, before you mount the center bracket back on the inside of the grill ,you have to trim down some of the plastic where these screws mount to the grill. A Dremel will make the job easy. I also bought 2 slightly longer screws for this part only, after cutting off the plastic the factory screws were a little short.

Sorry, I'm super new to this and hoping you can give me just a bit more hand holding with this cutting of the upper part.

With new screws, what size did you have to get?

I think the idea is you just bring the old screws to Home Depot and find a little bit longer screws to replace it. I'm hoping to knock out this little mod this weekend.

Okay just finished my install and I'm glad I went this way instead of buying OEM as it was fairly easy to do and a lot cheaper.

    - I used a Dremmel Tool for the cutting of both the TRD Pro Grille and the Upper Grille.

    TRD Pro Grille
For the underside of the Toyota Grille that needs to get cut for the Safety Sense. I took a ruler and measured 12.75in length on both sides and .75 inches depth. It gave me plenty of room for the Saftey Sense once installed. I recommend doing the measurements on your vehicle so you can get the measurement that works for you.

    Upper Grille
I had a hard time visualizing the cut after reading other people's posts, until I got the pieces in hand and then I saw exactly what I needed to do. There is basically two "box portions" on the new upper grille that needs to get cut/ sanded down so that the existing 4runner bracket can fit into the new upper grille. If you look at other people's posts they show the box already cut off, that's why the bracket fits in place.

You will need to get two longer screws because the original shorter screws just won't reach. I luckily had a few screws in my house that fit and I would say about double the length of original screw should be good. But you'll see what we mean once you have the pieces in hand.

    That should be about it.
    Good luck and enjoy!

Thanks so much for replying. Cutting to fit the sensor was pretty easy, now just that unknown upper grille to worry about ':) I'm glad you were able to get it done!
