Hey guys so I bought these used rain guards off somebody on Craigslist. I was wondering if anyone had a method for taking off the tape/glue residue that’s on them. All I know is isopropyl alcohol and elbow grease. Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks!

I use goof off, wipe it on, let it soak in a few, then wipe off. Repeat if necessary.

Goo Off really worked for you? Because I used some when I was trying to remove the same type of residue on the interior trim when I removed the sticker woodgrain and it honestly didn’t do jack shit.

Is it hard & crusty, I normally use WD 40, but goof works for a lot of stubborn stuff for me. Did you try scraping it, and then apply?
