What have you done to your 5th Gen 4Runner today?

Ordered mine on the 13th through paypal, still no tracking # I really don't like AJT as a company due to the arrogance of the owner and terrible customer service in general but couldn't beat the price.

EDIT: Got a tracking # after asking, my order was missed. While I have a tracking # it is not in the USPS system as of yet. Again, far from impressed with AJT as a whole.

 

I should have told you I ordered one for you as well lol! They came today.
So I went from the original chrome to this blue decal which was better but not exactly what I wanted. I ordered the AJT in cement thinking it was darker than what it was and would be a little different from just black. I do not like the cement so I gave it a few coats with semi-gloss black. I like it now.

 

My AJT Steering Wheel Emblem Overlay also arrived Today. Definitely complements the wheel. Went and ordered the AJT Climate Control Knobs in Black, with Black Screws.

I got that alert this morning also- but I already bought one on eBay...! Guy makes them out of issaquah WA, if you do a search on eBay you should be able to find him.. mine fits great.

I need something that comes out further than the stock, as the tires poke out a little.

 

2015 LE. Rocker panel trim over the weekend to fit black crushed tube running boards. Then finished off the trimmed rocker panels with some door edge guards.

 

Installed Thule kayak racks, Accessorides Remote Start, and detailed the interior. Busy weekend!

 

I towed with it for the first time! Brought this new project home...

 

How was it at towing and how far did you go? In probably a month or so I'll be using that same trailer to tow a 1948 Willys from NY to North Carolina.

I actually bought it over 20 years ago. I wanted to rebuild a Willys for years and little did I know that the father of one of my son's friends had one in his garage about 5 blocks away from me. We made a deal and I got it. Pretty much what it looks like now.

Try Rokblokz, they make a couple of sizes, they install flat against the wheel well so less rubbing, little on the expensive side but worth it in my opinion, have them on the 4Runner and Tacoma and they have held up great.

Short tow, less than 5 miles or so. I found it was easy going, I had a small stretch of 55MPH, and it was a-ok.

 

I have fronts on my Taco, still haven’t installed the rears yet. My concern is fitment on the limited, If any one can confirm the fit the limited, I’ll order.

I've had it since October '18. I've driven it to Florida a couple times, and up to Toronto. I was dating a girl that lived almost an hour from me. The miles add up fast.
