I went with the Locker Down EXxtreme Console Safe with the metal cased electronic lock. So far I am pleased with the build quality. Someone who is trying to get into it will need an angle grinder or a plasma cutter. It sure won’t be some random quick smash and grab from someone off the street. The EXxtreme model is reinforced compared to their base model.

They are nice, but may move them to take the whole truck, thinking there might be a pistol or other goodies in there worth having.

That is definitely true. That is the risk we take having these console safes in our rigs. I’m sure there are more inconspicuous methods on hiding valuables in our rigs.

But for the record, I only have tic tacs and flossers in mine.
