2018 super charged limited

I am currently in negotiations on this, well waiting for the sales guy to tell me the out the door price.

Your thoughts? It has just under 26k miles

 

Looks good. Those sure aren’t the original wheels though. You check the service history?

 

Tell him he needs to take off 10k just for having those ugly ass wheels

 

It has been owned by a former Yota service guy who is now at the Chevy Dealership I found it at. Insider info from a big wig at the yota dealership, all work was done at the dealership and this guy didn’t skimp.

I am using the tires to get some money off. The tires are oversized and rub. The rims, I hope that someone will want so I can trade for something better. I have the black 4Runner pro rims on my Taco, and the stock sport wheels still, so maybe something will work out.

 

What do you folks think of the pricing?

 

Its odd that someone would spend hard earned money on those wheels. Even I got them for free they’d be posted on Offer Up the second I got them.

 

I think pricing differs from state to state and your local market. Compare it to other 4Runner prices in your area.

 

I have, I think is reasonable. Just wonder what the 4Runner folks thought.

 

Does it have an aftermarket exhaust?

 

Don’t know. Didn’t look. I think I there has been suspension work, but I don’t know enough to say for sure. I think I there has been lots done. But the sales guy told me just the tires and rims where aftermarket. Guess he didn’t think I would know that the big ass Alpine system is not the factory Toyota Entune system.

 

I could be wrong, but it looks like it has an aftermarket exhaust tip so that’s why I asked about the exhaust.

 

I think it’s a good price, though.

 

It’s almost mine, going to drive it again, see if I can get another 500 bucks off, although I would rather see about 2500 bucks off.

 

That is a good price for a limited. Especially if it is 4wd.

Yes, I already forgot what kind (short term memory is fried). I spoke with the previous owner today just before I bought it.

 

I think thats like a $7K to $8K mod upgrade. If has one then you got a smoking deal on that truck.

Not factory. Toyota discontinued their TRD SuperCharger option

 

I told the sales guy after we agreed on price and paperwork was started, that the truck should have got 35k all day long. The former owner told me today, "I am not sure they know it's got a 7k supercharger in it" I know it was there, just didn't know if it came that way. I figured it out as soon as I got in the throttle it had something.

 

Did you discover it has a super charger after you bought it and brought home?

no. I thought it had something after driving it, then seeing the Magnuson put me on the path. My son did some quick googling and was telling me that it was factory.

that's nice. I love my 4Runner but my only complaint is that it accelerates like a brick. good catch on the supercharger.
