It would indeed. I started negotiating on one for sale on this forum, but decided against spending any more money for a while on wants instead of needs.

Oh yea skid plate looks really nice. Installed last week and switched out red letters for black ones. Changed whole look from front. I found mine at a dealer online that was having sale and got it shipped for like $243.00

Looks nice! I thought of changing the colors on the letters, but I have red shackles, and I thought I would rock the red TRD letters, at least for a while....

Either of you have KDSS? Part of my decision not to spend any $ on a TRD skid is it has to be modified to work with KDSS...

That makes sense. I'm not sure I would want to cut up a brand new TRD skid plate either. I do not have KDSS.

I heard it doesn't fit well on the Limited due to the extra chrome piece at the front. Any issues during installation?

Hmmm not sure about the limited. I have the venture which is like the sr5, Trd off road and trd pro mine fit perfect no problems or modifications.

Anyone put these tires on there 4runner in the 10ply? The reason I ask. I have to take mine back to the tire place I deal with all the time. Noticed after having them put on yesterday pulls to the right a little with a little wheel shake. Could be the tires or wheel balance. The front wheels did take extra weight. I went with the 10 ply because of the tread depth is so much better on them. No notice on power loss.

Talked to my tire guy. Going in on Monday and he said he will put 2 different tires on the front and rebalance them to see if it is the tires. Even tho I have read other post about 10 ply causing the issue he said he has never had a problem with 10 ply. That’s why he switching out to 2 new tires. See what happens. Not worried about it. He will get it correct.

I had my tire guy switch them over to the 4ply and still same issue going on wheel wheel shake between 50 and 60. I’m contacting Falken again. I might be removing these under warranty and going with something else.

B32FAF1F-5A7E-46AA-9C2B-71F3CD20F7A4.jpg Just giving news update on the Falken experience. I know other guys have not had a issue getting these balanced. My tire place does not road force balance tires and I was not going somewhere to have someone else road force balance them. I had them remove my Falkens 4ply today. Had them put back on the Nitto’s that come factory on the Pro’s. Amazing issue is gone. Between 50 and 60 steering wheel no shake. I know the Falkens have a more aggressive look then the Nitto’s. But there are so many posts on both forums where guys trying get these balanced and chasing it. I’m not doing that. Just giving other forums members heads up Incase you have same issue.

That's first I have heard of problem, thanks for heads up. I havent had any issues with mine. I wanted to go with nitto ridge grappler they are great tire and look really nice but they dont come in 275 size. I had terra grapplers on my FJ and they wore out very quickly and had uneven tread wear within like 12k miles. Nitto makes a nice tire just not a fan of the terra grappler, hopefully yours will wear better and last longer than mine did.

When we first bought our 2017 SR5 my wife wanted some aggressive looking tires, so i asked the shop i go to about Falken at, and he said he has had a lot of trouble balancing them, and did not recommend them. That was about 3 yrs.ago, the wife decided she would rather drive her Mini, and said i should drive the Runner, so i put Falken MT’s in the 285/70/17 E load and have been happy ever after lol. My shop guy said they never had the problem with the MT’s.

It’s amazing hit or miss on these tires to getting them balanced on the 4runner. Even over on the tacomaworld I think I read where guys had issues with them also on the Tacoma’s.
