I recently bought a set of TRD wheels from a 2018 Tacoma and to my surprise they did not fit on the front of my 2025 4runner. Has anyone ran into this before.... if so what did you do.... the tacoma wheels are 16 and my factory 4ru ner wheels are 17.... its hitting the brakes in the fornt.

I imagine there's a good reason 4Runners don't come with 16" wheels, and you just found out why through experience.

I was trying to point out the fact that it is a good idea to research first whether a particular size wheel will fit prior to buying, while putting it nicely, if perhaps bluntly.

The fact that you opted to buy the wheels first, and find out later they didn't fit, shows you don't particularly agree with that philosophy, apparently. If you find my response useless, I guess all the others pointing out that 16" wheels don't fit a 4Runner are equally useless. GLWTS of the 16" wheels.

    Unfortunately tough lesson to learn.
