only thing i hate about the BRP is the insanely low speed limits. I get so board trying to do the right thing, i just take the first exit and find other roads to drive.

I finally had to put gas in the tank. 19+ gallons at 1.399 per gallon. Nice! Last time I topped off was mid-February. I was in Chile for two weeks during that time, but still unusual. I'm usually at 2-3 fill ups per month.

Yeah I totally agree his mods and DIY were the best! Hands down. A power trip mod ruined it.

got my RAM phone mount installed finally. ran into one snag..the location that I wanted for the bottom hole for the mounting plate was going to interfere with the dial that opens/closes the vent, so I had to divert a little. thus an extra hole. we'll see how long it takes to drive me insane. other than that, it went pretty smooth and I like the result.[IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

I’m not a fan of having to bend the sides up. Gonna have to spend some time trying to make it look pretty. Other than that, it’s a cool piece and the guy who makes them is a cool dude. I’ll get some more pics when I get my stuff mounted to it.

I feel like I'm done modding my 4runner's exterior... I mean I'd love a front bumper with winch, and rear bumper with tire carrier... But I'm not spending that type of money.

Lift, tires, wheels, skids, sliders... I love it as is now. Basic but improved and functional.

I'll likely do a few things to the interior now... Seat covers, maybe different floor mats... Maybe eventually a new stereo head unit. I came so close to buying one a few weeks back... But really don't like the dash kits that you use for aftermarket stereos. Looks too open, too much wasted space.

That $1400 Alpine is nice, I like how that looks... But it covers the AC vents, and doesn't even have built in navigation. That's a no go. I go places where there's no phone signal and need a real navigation system.

Anyways... Just thought I'd share my feeling of completion LOL

It’s full of New Yorkers, meth heads, yee yee fuckbags, and the weather is trash most of the year. Mosquitos and love bugs rule the air. Then there’s the shitholes like Miami where if you don’t habla espanol you aren’t getting anywhere, Jacksonville - either military or ghetto, and Orlando is full of tourists that don’t give a fuck.

Yea, but there are shitty areas to every state, and i have lived in a BUNCH of states. Been to nearly all of them, but lived in quite a few as well.

I live in the country, levy county, near horse country. 1 red light, about a thousand people. Technically i live between 2 small towns, but both of those towns only have 1 red light each, and around 1000 people each. More cows than people and more fishing holes than stores. I LOVE IT.

There is only 1 other state id live in.... Thats texas. I have lived there as well, and its great. But florida has better fishing. And fishing is my favorite thing to do.

I hate snow, and hate large cities, plus lots of states have horrible gun laws, and florida and texas are good in those areas. Good laws, good weather as far as im concerned, and both have small towns. You just have to MOVE TO A SMALL TOWN. ANother good thing about florida is, from where i am, anything fun is only 2 hours away.... Disney, beaches, Bush gardens, whatever.... Keeps the wife and kids happy, while still giving me my peace out in the woods.

Cheap taxes also... Cheap registrations... There are states where people are paying 3 and 400 a year to register their vehicles, Im paying well under 100 bucks even with a custom army plate with custom lettering on it.... Others are also paying thousands on property taxes... I have a couple acres of land in the woods in walking distance to state forest land, 1700 square foot home, 1476 square foot garage... A few sheds... Still under a grand a year in taxes.

There are down sides, like hurricanes.... But you get used to them, and again, where i live, knock on wood, we very rarely get any of the worse parts of the storms.

I almost moved to the Tampa area. It seemed ok, but seems like it gets boring fast. Everything is Walmart and Publix. Those love bugs are crazy. I had their guts on my 4Runner for months. The sandflies aren't fun either. I have an ex in Lakeland. She's always telling me about the meth heads. Miami is just a party city it seems.

Dryer sheets get love bugs off very easily without scratching paint. They work great for any bugs on your paint. Dampen it, spray the vehicle down with water and wipe the bugs off before you wash your vehicle.

New ones work best but even used ones work.

Im from the Texas hill country originally. Been in Florida since 1995 and I’m moving to Arizona next year. As a pilot, I can live pretty much anywhere but the wife’s career has kept us here until next June.

Sweet! I was born in Georgetown and grew up in San Marcos.

We are moving to Scottsdale. I’m out there often with my job because the guy that owns the jet I fly has a big ass house there. I like it out there.

Had second Toyota Care visit and first oil change today … the tech found a leaking front shock on the drivers side. Will replace under warranty next Tuesday because didn't have the part in stock.

No spots found in garage and can't really tell by looking at it, so good catch. Going to take a closer look tomorrow which is wax and clean day.

We lived in Phoenix (just south of Camelback Mtn very close to Scottsdale) for two years back in the mid 90's. I haven't been back since around 2000 but it is a great metro area. There are some bad parts of town (inevitable in a metro city that big). All I know is houses have skyrocketed since. It is a great city for 24 hour life. There is also tons of things to do. You will appreciate your rear window in the summer! Lol
    Good luck with the move!
    Ryan.

Thanks brother. We are excited and ready to GTFO of Florida. Took the wife to Scottsdale last summer for an event at the boss’s house and she fell in love with the area.
