Just ordered the eibach pro lift kit. 2.75 in in front 1 in in rear. My question is does anyone know what largest tire will fit with this kit? I want to keep stock wheels and have no rubbing or trimming on new 4runner. I was thinking a 275/70-17 would work?

Hey man - I just ordered this kit too off Amazon. Only place that would ship it without charging and arm and a leg.

Also both have the venture! Pretty sure 275/70/17 will fit with no problems. I’m gonna keep the 265/70/17 (I already upgraded to falken wild peaks) as I saw some other pictures here that it didn’t look too small.

Cool, how much you pay? I got mine from wheelinoffroad for$759.00 with the struts fully assembled. That was best price I could find with assembled front struts. I think I'm going to go with the Falkens or the bfg in 275/70-17. How do u like the falkens? My kit should ship tomorrow so I will post pics when I get a chance to have it installed.

The kit was $748 on Amazon and shipping was $28 (prime shipping wasn't free, but substantially reduced). I did notice other sites that had the kit at 10% off (so it was around $674 or so) but they wanted $150-200 for shipping to Hawaii.

This is the unassembled price as Amazon did not have that feature (which is okay as I have someone that works on 4runners so he's familiar with this kit).

I love the falken wildpeaks - I had them on a 2009 tacoma I used to own, but they're super quiet on the road, nice feel, and have an aggressive look without sacrificing on-road manners. Plus I was able to pick them up for $120/each in the 265/70/17 size on Amazon when they had a previous sale (with free shipping).

That seems like a fair price. Nice price on tires maybe I will have to wait for next sale. Lol. Let me know what u think of kit once u have it installed.

Will do - probably won't have it installed until after April 30th.

I see the falkens are currently 136 on sale on Amazon, but that's the stock tire size. They have 285s for like 195/each which seems like a good price given BFGs are always super $$.

No there isnt a front diff drop with this kit. Wheelers offroad is selling the kit pretty cheap and has option of having struts pre assembled plus free shipping. If u sign up with them to receive emails you will also get 10% off. I talked to eibach before purchasing and they told me with this kit a front diff drop is not needed.

This lift levels truck perfectly, I see some postings saying rear is lower than front. Not true. Levels up perfect

The eibach kit like many others is level at the frame. The design of the runner makes it look nose high at more angles than not. It's one reason I'm holding out for the fully adjustable fronts and rears keep alittle "visual" rake and be rid of the 4runner lean!

If memory serves me correctly, the Falken tires in the 275 size are available in load range C. The BFG in that size are only available in load range E.

True, sorry u do still have drivers side lean slightly. Yes the Bfg are load E which is pretty heavy tire

The BFGs are heavy, but they are great. I haven't had any of the problems (loose grip on wet roads, etc...) that other have reported. I like em a lot and am hoping they look good when lifted, going with the Eibach kit as well.

I prob will go with BFG even thou they only have load E in that size. Kinda sucks that there isnt more choices of tires in 275/70-17. I have always ran nitto ridge grapplers and love the look and ride of them. But they dont come in that size

Just saw a spacer that can be purchased to correct the drivers side lean. It's about 0.4 inch thick and goes on top of left rear spring. I think OME makes it and also Davidson offroad. Has anyone used this or have any thoughts on this?

Good morning all! For what it's worth we have recently took on Eibach and have a few 4runner kits in stock. We are working on a coupon code to match their discount right now. We also offer strut and coil assembly as well as free shipping on everything we sell. Our kits usually include added discounts on items like upper control arms too.

My 275 BFGs rubbed in the front (both without and with the 2” lift and with an alignment). I only rubbed in full lock reverse on the driver’s side on the front fender liner/back edge of the bumper.

Are you running spacers to push your wheels out or is that stock look

The eibach kit is almost 3in lift. Not sure if the additional .75 gives it enough to not rub. Are you running stock wheel? Or wheel spacers? I cant imagine a 275 rubbing it's not that much difference than 265

I was actually fine until I got an alignment and they moved the caster a bit. I’m running the OEM TRD Pro gray wheels (or the SEMA wheels, whatever people want to call them). While I agree the difference between a 265 and 275 seems small, it makes a difference. Just like going from 275 to 285 usually results in a BMC.

Again, it only rubbed in once specific instance (reverse, full lock, driver side only). I pushed the fender liner forward and all has been good.
