Yeah, I'm 6'4" and about 240#. I cook everything from scratch, hardly a pre-processed food in this household, ever.

Well, I guess the 6'4 part explains the 240lbs part then.

Carry on with your delicious offerings!

Ya know, I'm hosting a Tacomaworld / 4runners.com camping outing in August, and I could use some awesome food to add to the experience.. Just thought I'd mention that.;) not sure how much you like camping?

I really enjoy camping, my lovely bride, not so much. PM me some details. We have a summer lake place near Chetek, WI (a wee bit north of where you are, but maybe we can make something happen).

Buns for the pulled pork sammy shown above (plus 3 large loaves of bread).
I've been making all of our breads from scratch since before I married my wife (30+ years ago).

I made a fancy grilled cheese yesterday lol.

I used a sourdough loaf I bought from our local bakery and cut the slices extra thick, like I like.

Then I used the sharpest of cheddars from grass fed New Zealand cows. Haha!

I have not gone the sous vide route. I've been tempted but have yet to succumb.

We do a lot of spiral cut honey glazed hams. We bought two more while on sale for Easter. However, the other day I found this beautiful bone in prime rib. 5.11# for $35 of Angus beef & I had to buy it. I seasoned it last night and we cooked it tonight. I now have a stuffed belly of excellent beef.
It was my first prime rib roast in a few years. Came out perfectly medium rare. We made au jus from the drippings. I maybe asleep soon with a beef overload! Lol

I mounted an over the range microwave with outdoor exhaust. I’ve installed dozens of them. Makes cooking inside much easier. No it’s not venison I wish....

Awesome meals posted by everyone! I'm glad I didn't stumble upon this hours away from a meal :) Like many other people, my brother's bachelor party got cancelled due to Covid, so I had him over for some steak and wanted to go big. I popped for some A5 Wagyu and we cooked some on the grill and some in a skillet. The grilled was by far my fav even though our research said to not put it over open flame. I couldn't believe how little you have to do to this meat to have it be incredible!! Definitely my biggest culinary bucket-list moment so far.
