We have a Carter Lake across the river from us. It is a crap hole.
Those pics are beautiful! What state is that? California? We need to go there!
    Great pics Jenn!

Thanks, all my search results came up with the local Carter lake. I will research it. Thanks again!

Have you considered SEM Trim Black? Very nice paint, works well on plastic exterior parts as well as metal...

It's Crater Lake. Not Carter Lake.

I need to go as well. Looks beautiful Jen!

My Parents took my sis and I to Crater Lake back in the late '60's. IIRC, we were able to drive all the way around it.
But a few times in later years, there was too much snow to go completely around it.
And I remember one time when we took the boat tour to the island.
Years and years later, my Mom showed me some B&W photos of some of those vacations.

It is my fault for the sidetrack. I mistook Crater for Carter. Either way now more people know about this beautiful place! Lol
    Sorry I cannot read.

Ordered that 2 post and then the wife kicked you off the forums? :D

TELL ME MOAR about the lift!!

Which lift? Who you order from? Do you need to have a forklift at home? Some of the places i have checked said you must have a way to unload it yourself.

Are you installing it yourself, did you already have electric setup for it? You hard wiring it? 30 amp 220?

    I NEED MOAR INFO!!

I got the skid plates prepped and painted. Thank God for my friend Bill, who happens to be a painter!

    20200313_203907.jpg

We also painted the bumper, got it mounted, and installed the winch.

Now I have to get to sleep!

I'm supposed to be at a friend's house at 9am to install the lift!

SOS. I bought it during the tax time sale. I'm very impressed by the build quality! The winch fit perfectly.

Weather was nice yesterday so installed the TRD Pro grille and washed the truck. It seems like folks either love or hate the TRD Pro grille but I think it looks great on the truck. To each their own I guess.

How do you remove the center section of the stock bumper for an aftermarket bumper like that?

You have to cut it out. Only down side to an excellent mod! I don't know how they are mounted... someone?

Thanks man. It’s OEM. More expensive than aftermarket but I figured pay once cry once. Purchased online from McGeorge Toyota.

I do like the look vs. the stock grille, but I'm too much of a cheapskate to dish out the funds. I'll enjoy the look on others' 4Rs.

    Friday morning-

    20200313_121129.jpg

    Now...

    20200314_164650-1.jpg

    -Bumper- painted and installed
    -winch- installed, wired, tested
    -skids- painted, customized, installed
    - 6112 Coilovers installed
    -5100 rear shocks installed
    -rear lift coils installed.

    Giggidy!

I took it around the block, and definitely noticed a sturdier ride, but not harsh. To early to really review the ride, though.
