Flashing lights when fob is pushed

I have recently changed from a 2017 Tacoma to a 2020 4Runner. When I hit the lock/unlock buttons on the Fob with the Tacoma the park lights interior lights and brake lights flashed, they do not do this on the 4Runner. Is there something wrong or did I get the cheaper version of the 4Runner where this function does not work.

 

Go into the settings menu on the radio. I'm thinking I remember a setting where you can turn this on/off

 

I have a Tacoma too and only the hazard lights flash when unlocking, same with 4Runner

 

Anything in the owners manual. We have a 2017 and the lights flash for lock and unlock.

 

Thank you for the suggestion of going into customization on radio. Like the dummy I am, I had turned it off thinking it was something else.

 

This is why I don't get some dudes on the other forum are gonna rip out the head units for aftermarket. They are going to lose more stuff than they think!

 

well, you can still use techstream and carista to make changes.
