I don’t want to go the OEM route because i’m not the kind of person who will spend 700$$$ for a plastic part.

I’ve bought the “chinesse faux grille” for my 2016 tacoma before and I’ve seen no difference with the OEM one, so I want to go the same route for my 2020 4runner.

I know that the 2020 and 2019 are different.

I know that 2020 have a notch on the garnish to fit the sensor of the 2020.

I know that the upper part of the grille have a different bracket on 2020.

My question is: If I order the 2019 pro grille (chinesse), what will I have to do to fit the bracket of my actuel 2020 off-road to the 2019 Pro Grille. If I dremel something, will it fit?

Garnish = no problem, I’ll dremel the cutout for the sensor as seen in another post.

I’m really more embarrassed by the fitment with the upper part and the bracket.

Someone have done it? Picture? How to? Etc…

the upper grille and middle piece is like $410 from TSO. Much less than $700 and from what I can tell from my install, has less gap on the end of the middle piece than the OEM one from Toyota.

410$ is again way too much!! I paided my Tacoma pro grille 150$CAN, was exactly the same as the OEM that cost 500$.....

I mean - we paid how much for a brand new 4runner right? So I prefer to buy once and cry once on this I guess.

or you can just wait for the cheap Chinese knock offs to hit the market.

19 Grille on a 20 also needs two more brackets for mounting

I just went with 2020 OEM bought online for a discounted price from a Toyota Dealer
