Spent $91 at Toyota buying new bumper brackets... Zipties weren't cutting it

Then I got stuck backing in my driveway. I miss my 33's

And finally, she's back to stock height.

im extremely shocked/surprised they took that as a trade. Youd get told to get bent here bringing something like that back.

not trying to be rude to alex but at the dealership that i go to and where my dad got his tundra they would tell me to make it spotless and fix everything if i was going to trade it in. id get told to replace every broken piece before they even consider it. i do know that alex has a good relationship with his dealer however

My dealer was like that when I traded in my '05 Highlander. That thing looked better when I traded it than it did new.

for shits and gigs i called the salesman who sold my dad his truck on my drive home, heres what he said when i asked "what would i need to do in order to trade in my 4runner"

"in short, it'd have to be stock. we won't accept any trade ins that aren't stock. the only exception is vehicles that have trd parts, and we still inspect those pretty rigorously. as far as condition goes, it doesnt need to be completely detailed when it comes in, but clean certainly helps. no broken, cracked, shattered, or heavily dented pieces either, or we simply won't take it. the effort to fix them isn't worth what we can sell them for."

not 100% verbatim cause memory, but thats the jist of what he told me.

thats how mine does now. it was nasty when i got it, i don't know who the detail guy was at the dealer but he should be fired.

My sales guy is very good to me. Took $2k out of the trade in value to cover repairing the rear quarter, which is understandable.

Other than that, the interior is in decent shape and the engine is strong.

In FL, $579 a month which is mid range for that complexes around FSU. Not sure what it is over here, living in campus housing.

I paid similar prices in college, a little more, but I lived in squalor in the ghetto of Philly.

    I want to buy. ASAP.

What are housing prices like where you want to buy?

I love the condos behind my apt, they are like townhouses with a garage underneath. 1.2M for 2500 sq ft.

Ones we're looking at are 4br/2.5ba 1700-2300 sqft for around 255k-320k Our ceiling is 330k

I wont even buy a condo/townhome. No way, its the same as an apartment except the tenants care.

    Recall where?

We are looking at 2 BR condos for 600k.

I wouldn't be thrilled about it, but more space would be nice. Ideally I'd like a garage, even if its a townhome. Moving out to where houses with land are affordable isn't really an option.
