My friend is torn between a Forrester Sport and the 4Runner. I've almost convinced him to get a 4Runner. I let him drive my OR Premium, and he says it drove better than the SR5 Premium he drove earlier in the day. Does the OR have better/different suspension?

I don't think so but that doesn't mean anything. Anything from different tires between the two could make them ride different.

Does your ORP have KDSS? That would be the only difference in suspension between an SR5P and an ORP. Springs and shocks are the exact same otherwise.

Pinstripes, lots of em. Plus a couple dents.
I have 19 Off Road (non-premium non-KDSS). KDSS with it's heavier front sway bar removes the body roll / tightens up the ride in the curves.
A suspension lift will also remove the body roll.

When I bought my OR, the test drive really didn't reveal the body roll. Once home driving on the twisty-curvy -hilly roads here in the Ozarks, I was like - holy crap! The body roll on the non-KDSS Off Road is horrible!!!

The Eibach Pro Truck suspension lift (shocks & springs) I had put on solved that. No more body roll in the curves and nose dive on braking is gone.
