Are there any better deals on the '20 TRD Pro (Heritage) Grille parts?

Below are a few links to the proper '20 part numbers along with discounted prices; however, there has to be better deals out there:

Garnish Front Bumper PZ323-35058 | Boch Toyota South

Grille Radiator Up PZ327-35056 | Boch Toyota South

The below post from a fellow 4Runner owner includes another location w/ similar prices and helpful info:

Doubtful at this point but thanks for the part numbers. The OEM versions are really expensive compared to the aftermarket stuff. I'm guessing there needs to be some trimming done to make the aftermarket 2019 version fit with the radar sensor. It's always worth a try to see if you can just dremel out a small amount and save yourself $250ish dollars.

i'm guessing the heritage grille is the TRD Pro grille for cars with TSS?

Yeah, the pre '20 garnish would require some slight trimming; although, it is on the bottom and should not be very visible. After reading too many negative reviews on the Chinese knock-offs, I would prefer to pay the premium for OEM parts.

That said, a quick Google search yielded prices all over the map.

The aforementioned links are the best deals I could find; however, I'm sure someone out there is offering a better deal.

    One in the same...I think?

According to Toyota, the part is a "Garnish Front Bumper - Toyota". They advertise it for the TRD Pro as a "Unique 'TOYOTA' front grille" and enthusiasts have been calling them Heritage Grilles.

So since this an external upgrade that is sitting on the front being beaten day in and day out, I have paid the extra for the OEM one. The way I see it is, do it right the first time and you don't need to worry. I saw the import knockoffs and I just seems too much potential for something to go wrong

Agreed! Confidence in the fit, finish, and material used is certainly worth something.

After placing an order for the OEM TRD Pro grille, I received an email that these items are on "national back order from Toyota, and there are none in the Country at this time." The email went on to say it may take several weeks for them to receive the parts from Toyota.

Apparently this has been occurring, but people are still receiving them in a relatively short time.

Has anyone seen a Super White SR5 with the heritage grill with the TOYOTA done with white vinyl (stick on not replace the letters)?

Just got my shipping notice from McGeorge that my heritage grill is on it's way. Ordered on 12/31, shipped on 1/8. Ironically the distributor for Toyota Parts is actually located about 10 mins from my house but in order to get good parts pricing I have to order from McGeorge. So the parts leave Maryland and are shipped to VA then I have to pay $30 shipping for McGeorge to send them back to Maryland. Sometimes the world makes no sense. I'm considering dropping the whole bumper and installing OEM black LED fogs and Morimoto XB headlights at the same time.

No need to drop the bumper for oem install. Driver easy and on passenger just a splash shield to remove 1st... Takes 15-20 minutes tops

Do 1 side 1st and adjust the beam to the remaining factory beam - it will get you close

Thanks! I'll have to drop the bumper for the headlights but good to know the fogs are pretty easy.

Grill parts arriving today and it's supposed to be 68 degrees tomorrow. I think you know what's about to happen :)

It was mid-50's and I couldn't wait so I installed yesterday. Couple of notes, don't expect the upper to just pull straight out with a little effort. That damn thing is on there, especially getting started and around the bottom of the Toyota logo. My suggestion is to put pressure straight forward while you work the black tabs to get them to release a bit easier. They lock in both up and down so apply pressure up and then down several times and they'll pop loose. Do not apply any upward pressure as there are little plastic pieces from the lower bumper that hold on to the upper that will break off. You must pull straight forward.

The black heritage cover does not go on as far as you might think so be sure to have yours centered up before pushing it on. I'm about 1/16th off which is driving me nuts as there is a bigger gap on the driver side. I lined it up using the cutout marks for the TSS sensor and the upper clips but they are not perfect. I'm hoping with a bit of warmer weather and some help from my wife with a blow dryer that I can get it to loosened up enough to come over just slightly.

Looks great and thanks for sharing the lessons learned. It seems that some of the upper grilles separate easier than others. I’m a bit hesitant as I don’t want to break anything.

How is the gap on each end?

3/16th of an inch on each side. I wouldn't worry about breaking anything. Just go slow and look at what you are doing. You don't see the gaps unless you walk right up and look. From a distance or in pictures you aren't really going to see them. It's not meant to be a seamless fit that will hold up to close scrutiny.

Drababan, I love the grille! So I have the same 2020 SR5 Premium. Can you provide the link and a list of everything I need to order for that grille. I thought I was screwed with the TSS, but you just made my day! Finally, was it easy to install without interfering with the sensor? Thanks!

See the first post in this thread.

McGeorge Toyota is also the cheapest OEM parts available.

Thanks! Are those 2 items the only things I need to purchase? Any hardware or other pieces?

Those are the only two parts needed to purchase. You will reuse some hardware grille parts.

Search YouTube - there are a lot of detailed videos. Install only takes 20-30 minutes. Very easy.

Thanks! So, to be honest I’m not very educated on this, but I want to install myself. What are these modifications and “trimming” you guys keep referring to for installation on the 2020 with TSS? I’m also unclear of the gaps you guys refer to. Also, how do you advise I do this trimming? Thanks for being patient with me! Once I do this, I promise to post pics!

How’s about you show a little bit motivation and search the forum!?
The forum is loaded with information and for those that like it more visual, YouTube is full with “how to do” videos. Sure there is questions all the time and not all of them are easy to find answers for and there is no doubt you will find help here for those questions but try to be more self driven, you wanna mod.

Cause SKT_07 has been great and Drababan has the same exact 4Runner and just installed it successfully. Why do you care? I came to this forum cause I need help and so far their posts have helped me the most! Finding info on 2020 models with TSS is near impossible! I searched for days before I was lucky enough to find this thread. There are millions with 2019 and below, but the 2020 with TSS is a different ballgame!
