It doesn't come on LC cover. Original has "V8" logo and whole cover is silver. I did grind that down and used Japan flag in its place since 4Runner is made there and I have great respect for quality of anything that Japan makes and culture of tradition.

So paying down the holiday bills, can't afford a mod so I made a gif from the dash startup splash screen. It was free!
So my photo skills are zero and the actual startup is not as fast as this gif

Kicker tweeters went in a day or two ago, ordered my 1up rack today, so pumped for it and so pumped not to be dealing with a door jam mounted Yakima roof rack on a crappy old sedan any more!

Just had my first service - just shy of a solid year. Cleaned both of my babies up. Now snow and ice forecast for this weekend. :(

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
I got the Wildpeaks put on this morning. This is how the 4Runner should look! I'll paint the wheels black come the spring then I'll be all done with mods on the truck. Yeah, right. Stock size, SL load rating. Cheaper, lighter and only a little shorter than the 275 LT. Took it out and got to 75 MPH with no vibrations at all so the shop did a good job. Quieter than the Grabber AT2's I had on my Grand Cherokee so I'm happy.DSCN5463.jpg DSCN5464.jpg DSCN5465.jpg

Did the aluminum filter housing come with the plug? I am just trying to get everything together for next time. I am assuming it is the 15620-31060 below.

Thanks bro. Im guessing you got the victory one as well?

I like it, easy install. The only thing im not a fan of is the plastic "skid" that goes over the radiator can no longer work as designed. It bolts into the factory skid plate and there are no holes there in the Victory model. SO i just bolted it up in the front and then used a couple zip ties in the rear for now.

Im debating on MAYBE ordering the RCI filler plate to see if it will work with the victory front engine skid. The issue may be that the filler plate is designed to go on top of their engine skid, and to use it with the victory you would need to put it under the victory engine skid, as there are no bolt holes on the bottom of the engine skid. HMMMM. Dont really wanna waste $86 and change (shipped) to find out it doesnt work though...

HOLY CHIT.... Thats some CLOSE parking there!! Looks like you are kissing the white car in front of you.

Yes i ordered mine from Victory also, i went with the aluminum. I think Victory said they are thinking about a filler plate for that, but have not come out with one yet. I don’t think I will like the look as is.

LOL yeah, that's my daughter's WRX and I'm about 3 inches away from the bumper. Not on purpose, I got lucky and stopped there.

Update on the filler plate from Victory, i got a e-mail from Corey, and they do not have plans for a filler plate that works with the stock bumper, they do make one for the Blitz bumper though.

I've asked them as well. They didn't say no... But they also didn't sound like they were interested in making it either LOL

I contacted RCI... This is the response I got...

"Thank you for your interest in our products. I just watched a video on the installation of the of the Victory front skid plate. You should be able to loosen the front two mounting bolts on the front skid plate and slide our filler plate between the skid plate and the radiator cross member. It looks like the front skid plate uses the same mounting locations in the front as our front skid plate. You should be good to go."

I think I'll order it and find out.

Thanks, do you know if it comes in aluminum? If you get yours to work i am going to order one also. I just looked at RCIs, and it looks like it will be fine, but i will wait to see what you say, thanks for trail blazing.

Well I was a little skeptical about replacing the reverse lights until I put these in if they would make much difference. Judge for yourself. Here's some before and after shots with one control shot in the dark. All taken in the garage with my garage lights out. It doesn't seem to make much difference with the backup camera, but the others views are night and day difference.....at least to me. Worth a $20 upgrade to me.

Installed Auxbeam T1-H11's and T1-9005's. Will test low and high beam LED's tonight:) Easy plug and play. Note: if LED doesn't work, reverse plug to correct polarity.

Picked up the new boat an took it straight to the closest lake. Averaged about 12.5mpg while pulling it :D though it pulled it well, no issues at all.

Didn't have an anchor with me and it was pretty windy, so I didn't fish much. Just started breaking in the new Yamaha and checking everything out.

Only reason I muster up the patience to go to a mall is for a hot pretzel lol. I do 95% of my shopping online, mostly Amazon. Even groceries are peapod, it's a beautiful thing.
