    That's the truth!

Florida. And we caught 51. Didn't realize how many were actually in the live well... Cleaning them now... Wish it was only 30 LOL

Sunfish and catfish. More specifically, shellcrackers, bluegill, red bellies, and channel cats.

Correction... We kept 51... Which means we prolly caught 75+ total. We threw all the little ones back.

Hell yea. I fish a lot. Both salt and fresh. Even shark fish from a kayak. Mostly bonnethead when in the kayak. We take the flats boat out 50 miles or so for the big boys.

A great thing about Florida. Water all around.

Yea I got a fresh only boat too... Then I use my father's mako for anything offshore.

I've been fishing these oceans all my life. I've caught shark bigger than my kayak. Seen a bunch of MONSTERS around the reefs. Definitely have to be very careful. I don't normally wear my life jacket kayaking in fresh water... But always wear it kayaking in the gulf.

Though I paddle next to Gators in fresh water.. close enough to touch them with the paddle... plus there's lots of moccasins.. which are more aggressive than the Gators ..anywhere can be deadly... But I'm not giving up my favorite hobbies over fear.

Since OEM I paid 534 for it on Ebay. I wanted OEM for that part from a Toyota Dealer. I didnt want it falling apart

$538 For 2 pieces of plastic? I have had my $100 Chinese Pro grill for about a year with zero issues. Same goes for everyone else. I haven't seen a single post about the chinese Pro grill failing. Your $ to spend however you want though.

From what I can find, this is the part# 89121-0E060. It's about $130 and I don't see a cheaper version anywhere, so a little risky to verify.

Washed it early this morning... Then it rains... Which floods my dirt road creating mud pits all the way to the pavement, a mile and a half away... Now I'm back muddy again

On a brighter note... Looked at a new boat today... Just a little 17' alumacraft prowler 175... I like the layout... It's a brand new 2019, but seeing as how it's now 2020... They have all new 19s on closeout sales with additional rebates... Dropping the price 7000 off MSRP. Thinking maybe... I might... bring it home next weekend. Have to run some numbers and get them to install my hummingbird fishfinder/GPS first.

Taking it in for the free 20k service... Like this! Haha!
Edit: The service guy was not "excited" about the mud in the skids, nor messing with the skids for the oil change... The porter who logs scratches was not "excited" either... I just kinda drew lines all over her sheet to save her time haha

hopefully they tighten the oil pan bolt. I just had my 10K free service few weeks ago. The other day I noticed some oil spots on floor. I pulled off the skid and notice oil all over it. I then checked the oil pan bolt with just my fingers and it came loose. Tighten the bolt and cleaned off all the oil. Engine oil levels are still good luckily.

I am in Citrus Heights. I am on another unmentionable forum where I host a lot of Tacoma Build days. I will put this out to the California/Sacramento area Runners. I try to host a build day once a month or so get a couple trucks over and everyone helps each other. I have most tools required for most things haha. I stick to projects that are in and out in a day because I need the shop space for all my other crap/cars haha. I am not sure how many in this area are interested in attending/helping on some of these days. I might have to start a new thread to get an interest check etc.

There probably is... Just have to find the right people. Look at 4runner facebook groups for your area. And other forums. Lots of helpful people around with like interests. Just have to be willing in some cases to drive a couple hours.

SOmething similar just recently happened with me, except they also dinged my paint job in addition to stripping the oil filter bolt, i was without my 4runner for nearly 2 weeks due to them not being able to do an oil change properly. I wont ever let them touch anything again.

Yup. I think this is a done deal.... Dropped off my fishfinder today for them to install on the new boat. Probably be ready tomorrow.... But my kids have martial arts tomorrow.... Then im busy until friday. It may be next week before i can actually bring it home. But its mine.

Thanks bro. Its just a little 17' alumacraft prowler 175. 60hp yamaha 4stroke. I like the layout on it and love the spray in liner. I hate carpet in boats. Impossible to keep clean if you fish as much as i do... My other boat is vinyl, but the vinyl comes up after a while in the corners. So the spray in liner is a nice add on that should hold up much better.... I hope.

Some pics. It just stopped raining so its a bit wet, but you get the idea...

Put 3x 150hp on the rear! Then you can do poker bass runs. LMAO
Nice boat. It appears the mods have continued. Start a boat build thread!

I am also an aquaholic (swim & ski here). Just man built lakes around here that are sand pits turned lakes. Ours (grandparents) was just (5 yrs ago) dredged to 50' I think. Another a few miles away is new & they got 80' of water! Granted they are both close to a river.
Nothing to do in Nebraska... lol
The marker is the family lake & the circle is the 80' deep lake.

    Enjoy your new boat.Screenshot_20200106-180212_Maps.jpg

    Thanks bro.

Wait... So you, your family, OWNS that lake? It looks HUGE. How many acres? Thats awesome man. Any fish in it??

I used to ski a bit as a kid. Never really got big time into it, but a few times a year we would go out and ski. I enjoyed getting pulled on the tube more than the skis personally. My father made it his goal of knocking us off the tube while running WOT and hitting whatever waves he could. It was a blast.

Always loved fishing though. Camping too. Real camping. No one else around for miles, hiking or kayaking into the camp site, picking it along the way, a new spot every time. A tent a few drinks and the clothes on your back was about all we brought. Catch our food and cook it over the fire. Great times.

    :frustrated:
Bad use of wording I guess. There are over 150 houses on that lake! We are lucky enough to have a lot out there. My grandparents were actually the second house on the lake! Now there are mansions on a 12 acre lake that are a million dollars! It is insane. Ours maybe a quarter million. My grandmother passed last month (12/12/19 RIP grandma) so we may not have it after 45 yrs. It is now in a trust for my sick mother. It has been a bad year...
Sorry to rant, had to clarify.

Got my victory 4x4 skid plate in. Nearly forgot about it with everything else going on. Ordered black Friday.

Now to make time to put it on. Probably install it on Thursday. Kids have martial arts again tomorrow.

    Sorry to hear that bro.

And still nice to be on a lake, if you can go out on it and take advantage of it thats still awesome!! My family owns a little piece of property on a nice river. No house on it. We camp on it occasionally and fish out there. Good hunting too.
