Have a 2019 4 Runner TRD Pro. It's heavy and needs more highway power. Any ideas? Just added AirRaid intake and Borla S-Type Exhaust.

Have you seen the Nitrous-Oxide kits out today? Very easy to install and affordable. A lot cheaper than super charging, same horsepower gains....

Welcome from Nebraska! What do you dip?
Biggest gains come from the Magnuson Supercharger but it comes at a price...
Again, welcome & post an introduction post with pics when you get a second.

If this is you; you have the cheese for the supercharger (sorry). I couldn't help myself!
Seriously, it appears to be the best in all situations; low end torque and good horsepower.

Summit or Jegs..Then you only use it when you need it. Where as a SC is always running, more wear and tear on the vehicle.

A pedal commander would give you quicker throttle response. You would notice a difference.

Shame you don’t ship your dip out. I’m still craving some even after I had a crab/artichoke dip for an appetizer this evening....

If the HP doesn't satisfy you trade it in and get a Challenger Hellcat. No way anyone doesn't know what their buying before taking delivery.

I've seen a single horse pull a car out of a muddy ditch. 270 horses could move a mountain, I'm not sure why your not satisfied;) :llama:

If speed is a real concern, this is the wrong automobile. Granted with forced induction, CAI, headers, full exhaust, proper tune, and regearing you could get some speed... But at the cost of the engine longevity.... And at that point you'll have spent an extra 10K or more with install labor time.

For what? To hit 350 hp and 375 pounds of torque... 0-60 times of 6 seconds still prolly, definitely not under 5 LOL

So say you paid 45K for your pro, add that 10K in and now you're at 55K..

For 55k you can get around 500hp, running around 3 second 60s right off the lot. Cars built and designed for speed with way better aerodynamics...

Ahhh...the age old oil question. As long as it's proper spec for the vehicle (0w20), it really doesn't matter.

My 4Runner currently has Pennzoil Platinum in it. In the past I've used Castrol and Mobil 1 products.

I'd probably still be using Castrol if the Meijer near my house still carried it...not sure why they stopped selling it.

When it comes to buying oil, I prefer convenience and a good price...not willing to pay auto part store prices for Castrol...and Wal Mart is a bit of a drive from my house.

oil degrades by breaking of the long oil molecules. As the long chains break, the viscosity increases. I always look for
hydro treated oil, which lowers the viscosity and increases oil "life". If you start with a longer oil molecule chain, as it breaks,
the fragments are longer than an oil that has not been hydro treated. Hydro treating oil makes longer hydrocarbon chains by heat in a reformer tower in the presence of extra hydrogen atoms and catalysts.....the next step up is synthetic oil for much more money....

Is this a local (sales) thing or something I can get here also? I have 2 diesels that I have run Rotellas in for 15 & 11 yrs respectively.
Cannot tell economy different in a 3/4 ton work truck. Definitely runs smooth after an oil change!
I love Rotella's oil. Glad they started making 0w20!

A lot of people are happier with the throttle response after installing a "Pedal Commander" or "Sprint Booster."

These devices do NOT make the truck faster, but they manipulate the throttle signal to the ECU to give better perceived throttle response.

I have not personally experienced this. But, the folks who have installed them seem consistently pleased and impressed with the improved driving experience.

As far as actually adding power; look into a supercharger kit. These things are heavy, and not designed for speed.

I'm satisfied with the acceleration, but I wouldn't hate more power.
