    Hi guys
Any ideas when replacing the original muffler with another different make, which is slightly smaller in length, if it would make any difference in performance?!!

The stock Muffler is HUGE, most aftermarkets will be smaller, lol. I had a 10" borla muffler on my old truck, it SEEMED a bit more responsive after the swap, but probably sound placebo. More likely than not, it did nothing but sound, same with the Magnaflow on the current truck (which is a bit longer, but still shorter than stock). The shortness will really just make it even louder.

The biggest performance boost youre going to get from swapping mufflers is weight savings lol

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
I put a Borla 40665 muffler on my 2019 SR5 and really like it. Butt dyno says more power at WOT. I really like the sound too. It's shorter and smaller all around and weighs about 1/2 what the stock muffler weighed. It's all stainless too.
