Hi All, I just bought a 2019 TRDOR 4runner. This is my first 4runner ever and new to the 4runner community. I like the look of the pro grill mod on the 4runner but can't justify buying this from toyota. I wanted to get some feedback from all who had upgraded your front grill with after market and recommendation as which vendor to purchase this from. I understand the average price is anywhere from$110-$150. I just was to get descent quality after market and don't mind paying a little more. Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

Thanks, I find this forum is very informative for toy4runner. Will have fun molding the 4runner. Currently bone stock. Just doing lots of research into getting right parts so I don't have to keep spending money to it right first time around.

I purchased one from CarTrim. It came within a couple of weeks, but the upper mesh portion arrived with the end broken off. Emailed them immediately and was told they were sending another out that day. A week later I asked for tracking info, and right now still showing it arrived in Hayward CA on Nov the 14th. Hasnt moved since then. I was sent tracking info exactly a month ago as of today for the replacement part. I am going on two months since I initially ordered the grille and ready to file with PayPal in a week if nothing shows up before then. I wish I wouldve spent an extra $20 to buy on from a US seller and wouldve been able to install is 5 weeks ago!

I have heard a lot of quality problems on the non-oem units. [Finish coming off after a few months warping]

I agree about the quality issue on none OEM parts and it also goes with the price. I was hoping hearing other who had used aftermarket grill longer term can provide feedback on their own experience. Others on YouTube also have videos on pre-prepping the abs by painting it before the install and that might be a more viable way to go about this.

On the aftermarket grilles, they show adhesive tape on the back of the center piece. Does that just mount over the stock center piece?

Driving down to Sun City, something fell off from under the vehicle ahead of me and hit the front grill on my brand new 2020 army green
TRD PRO and knocked off 3 of the 6 logo letters that spell TOYOTA. The replacement part was quoted at over $500.00 One of the plastic cross members in the upper grill section was also broken, and the replacement upper grill section was quoted at about $270.00.
I ordered new silver grey letters from here for $10.00:
    https://cartrimhome.com/Toyota-Emblem-Logo-Nameplate-For-Toyota-4Runner?search=4Runner&page=2
and used two part JB WELD epoxy to repair the cracked upper grill section. (Note: super glue does not work on oil based plastic).
