Didn't work on our 5th Gen but ended up hosting a mini-mod day at my house. Worked on fixing a tire carrier that broke on a friends 2nd gen Tacoma. The pipe ripped (thin wall tubing holding a tire on the swing out, bad design). We repaired the broken pipe, then sleeved the whole thing with .120 wall tubing and gusseted the crap out of it. Installed 885's and Bilstein 5100's on a 3rd Gen Tacoma. Then installed a winch on a different 3rd Gen Tacoma. Busy day! Glad the wife is understanding having 10 people at the house. Fired up the smoker and took care of some business!!!! These are the only pics I got, to busy working! haha

It's the foggy season here, so I ordered some JDM A-Star 2400 lumen H11 amber bulbs for my driving light housings. Driver's side was easy. Passenger side has the extra shield, so I actually had to take the fender liner out.

I usually drive with my driving lights on as they help with side light. I drive 15 miles to work on a rural highway with the occasional deer and fairly heavy traffic, so having my brights on is not an option. I believe my record on a typical commute for not having to turn brights off was just over 1 minute, lol.

But, the stock driving lights were H16s and these are H11s, so not sure if I can get away with leaving them on.

I think you'll appreciate how easily and quickly that remote start installs. The hardest part for me was figuring out how to get the clamshell apart around the steering column without marring it or damaging the clips. It's a little sharp behind the panel above the pedals, so be gentle on yourself. :)

When I lived in Iowa, it would be so cold in the mornings that I would have to get up, then throw on some clothes and start the car, then go take my shower, have coffee, breakfast for an hour and finally the car would be relatively warm enough to function. I'm talking negative 20's with wind chill in the negative 50 range. Insane!

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
I did the H11/H9 swap. Next time I drive at night I'll see what's what.

yea I can. SOS is the real deal. These guys need to stop spending stupid money for shit from other companies. SOS has the best prices around and the quality of their products is second to none. I beat the ever loving shit out of my rigs and the SOS armor has never let me down.

Did the same last week (Phillips h9s), Wife noticed a difference right away.
Cheap and easy upgrade, ~$16 and about 5-10min of work. I'm happy with them for on-road performance, give a decent spread and throw. Debating on what I want to do with the fogs now.

Finally got the platform secured down so whatever I tie down to it will be secured during off-road or hopefully not, a crash. Now I need to find a good source for some L-track....anyone know of such a place??? The depot only has 12" sections of it. Which I could use but I think I would prefer two 3' sections lengthwise. Thoughts?
Also what to finish it with, I am leaning towards line-x or some equivalent.

The e-track is very versatile & can handle motorcycles and SxS's. Good luck with your build!

FabTech is about the only manufacturer of a 6" lift for the 5th gens. (unless another someone else jumped into the game since I got mine couple years back)

A couple pics of my lady with the 6" FabTech Stealth kit and 35's.
She may not rise higher than your 8" Ford...but a lot of people move over when the look in their rear view and see me. Hehehe

    They look great!!
How are they with lighting to the sides? I get that they are far brighter than stock but do you get the wide spread to light up more than just directly in front of the vehicle?

Also, BTW...digging the retro badge in the grill, have the same one, planning to put it on this weekend!!

    Congratulations!
    Where did you find one?
Is the wiring at least plug & play?
    I know... wait.
We can fabricate anything to fit. Does it plug & play? If I may ask.
    Thanks.
