Thanks for the post, took me a while to find it but this was a life saver when replacing my fogs. Thanks again!!

Next question - any idea how to remove the chrome piece that sits in between the two fog lights? I wanted to install the TRD Pro grill garnish but I think the chrome piece in the middle is keeping it from sitting flush against the grill.

you need to remove the clips for the chrome pieces. It’s easier when the bumper is removed.

Does the front chrome trim need to be removed if I wanted to merely switch out the fog halogen bulb for an LED bulb? I originally wanted to replace the entire fog lights with the OEM LED fogs, but now my laziness is making me scared.

if you're just changing the bulb, you can reach your arm up the fender liner. but if you swapping housing, yes you need to remove the clips which holds the chrome.

Awesome thanks. I'll try my luck at using an LED bulb and hope that it will produce decent visibility. If not, then my OCD will force me to do this extra work to swap the housings entirely.

Can't the fog light bulbs be changed without taking the chrome piece off on a 2020 4runner limited, by taking the bolts off the wheel well covers and reaching in or is this to change the whole fog light assembly? Never mind. Got my answer from Daytonaviolet.

Dropped a burrito between the driver's seat and console.
Thanks Daytonaviolet! Just took delivery of mine three weeks ago, was quite disappointed in the lighting. As soon as I saw the improvements installing quality LED headlight bulbs I ordered the Toyota fog assembly, but peeking through the wheel wells made it obvious that something else was required to replace. Toyota says to pull the bumper skin but I didn't want to mess with the radar unit. Thanks for the post, I'm ready to install the lights!

Has anyone tried modifying the foglight assembly? I have the 2016 Limited and think the plastic square space on the fog light could look more like the 2011 fog light housing, thus having double fog lights in each housing!
