At PFS the platinum ceramic coating package with 10yr warranty was 1600. 3 layers of Glanz base, 1 layer Glanz top, 1 layer glanz plastic/trim coating, 1 layer glanz wheel face and glass coating. I am unsure how much for only the windows but I pick up the car today and I can inquire for you.

Yea i will prolly go with the magnaflow, I went and listened to 2 of them today, 1 on a Tacoma and 1 on a Colorado, both 6 cylinders. Neither as loud as the flowmasters im used to. The one on the Tacoma was 18" and the one on the Colorado was a 14".... I liked the 14" more. The 18 really wasnt loud enough for me. So im thinking i will go 14". Its not real loud either but i like the sound more.

It will be done in the morning, so i will really know how much i like it then LOL

When I had my Tacoma, I started with a single 14" 5x8 muffler. A little too loud for me, so I added a second 14" inline. Louder than stock when I wanted it to be, but I could drive through your neighborhood at 3am and not disturb anyone.

Yea i have always had 40 series flowmasters and I'm used to them. More aggressive sounding, so the 14" Magnaflow is a step down in sound for me.

Still a good bit of sound though so i should be happy... Anything too close to stock and I'd just stay with the stock muffler.

Maybe I'm just getting old lol. When I was younger, I had a dual Magnaflow setup with no resonator on one of my cars. It was loud, but not obnoxious though. I don't think the 1GR-FE sounds as good with an aftermarket exhaust though. On the 4Runner, it sounds good at around 3K rpms, other than that, meh.

Really nothing sounds good on the 4.0, especially not a flowmaster. I put a Borla muffler under mine which is quieter than Magnaflow and It's ok but it's nothing to write home about. It's a V6 with an exhaust, there is no way to make them sound good.

It's a V6, there is no rumble at all. For those of us that have had a V8 with an exhaust, we will never be satisfied with a V6 with an exhaust lol

Before the Tacoma, I had several GM cars. The older pushrod V6s didn't sound to bad at low to mid rpms. Especially the 90° V6.

They were OK, same with the 4runner at low RPM With some mufflers, they get very raspy and rice at higher RPM though. Just the nature of it.

Not for everyone but I like it. Now to get black roof rails. Are the wheels still 20's?
Certainly will turn heads! What lift?
    Thanks in advance.

I completely disagree. I have had multiple V8s in my life with exhausts, CAIs, tunes, turbos and all. I still prefer a good sounding exhaust on a v6 over stock.

Does it sound as good as a V8? Of course not... But at least it no longer sounds like a moped.

Find me a muffler that sounds good on a V6 and I'll agree. In all honesty, it wasn't for the pretty decent power gain with the Borla over stock, I would have already removed it. I may still remove it but we'll see what happens. It's only been maybe a month and it's grown on me but not much. I really want to see if there is any fuel economy gain on a long road trip. I can tell you around town I lost about 1 MPG and no it's not because i'm driving harder to hear it lol I don't really care much for the sound.

While I'm in automotive tech and performance school i get half off Snap on and Matco tools... But they are STILL SUPER EXPEN$IVE!! so i guess I'll keep using my dewalt, craftsman, kobalt and similar tools. Though I'd really love a set of matco torque wrenches and impact sockets....

Well it's all personal preference, i enjoyed my FM40s on multiple V8s and V6s... Had plenty of people say my Tacoma sounded great with flowmaster. Was asked a couple times if i had a V8 in it...

This time I'll go a little more quiet to try and avoid some of the drone, but i like to hear my vehicle. We all like different stuff though.

Got the magnaflow 14" installed this morning with an 18" black chrome stainless tip.

At idle I dont hear it at all really, its noticeable while accelerating and gets a bit loud when stomping on the gas, but still noticeably quieter than a 40 series. Not as throaty but still pretty deep. I like it... But its not like super AMAZING or anything, i think i would of liked the flowmaster 40 series more personally. I think this could be a bit louder for my taste. Not crazy loud just a bit more noticeable inside the cab. And at idle at red lights i dont hear it at all, and i would like to. Still much better than stock.

I dont really notice any drone, but someone with better hearing might. I rolled the windows down and checked from 45-70mph in 5mph increments, setting cruise control, trying to listen for the drone... But what little i could hear wasnt significant enough to bother me, especially wasnt loud enough inside the cab when the windows were closed.

Love the tip. I get the same tip installed every time i do an exhaust. I had them bring it just past the bumper.

I kept the stock muffler, just in case on the way home the drone was crazy or it sounded super ricey and i decided to go back to stock... But that wont be happening.

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
I had a Magnaflow on my '05 Grand Cherokee and it got louder after about a year and continued for about another year then seemed to level off. Sounded great with the 4.7 V8 but started droning too so I hope that doesn't happen to you.

Was the drone really bad? Just curious but did you have it inspected for leaks?

Some say there exhaust gets louder and some say more quiet over time... I've heard lots of stuff... Fiberglass packed mufflers get louder as the fibers get burned out or broken down. Chambered mufflers get quieter as a layer of soot is layed down on them. Carbon builds up in ALL mufflers and the sound absorption changes. Exhaust break in and then get louder... Lots of opinions... But I've never experienced it myself.

I wouldn't be mad if it got a bit louder, honestly wouldn't mind a little drone either unless it gets obnoxious. But with a v6 it'll never be as loud as a V8. I'm more hoping it doesn't get much quieter LOL

I have solved several issues real quickly... Added a tpms and voltage reader, No tpms reader was one of my biggest problems with my 4runner but this little kit installed easily and works great. I have tested it and verified its accuracy as well.... plus it also has a usb charger input on the side so you dont have to remove the reader to charge your phone.

Also disabled the seatbelt ding, made the windows roll down with the button on the key or in the door lock, and removed the eco bar.

    Im a happy camper.

I still need to do this. When I went to the dealer for my 5k service, I asked if they could do that. I even said I'd pay. They told me that it didn't work on 2019s. I could also tell that they just didn't want to do it.

Drove it 375 miles to Asheville, NC.

Along the way I learned that the Eco bar disappears from the display when you hit 88 mph...

    1.21 GIGAWATTS...lol

It returns when you slow to 85 mph.
