Dear friends, I was heavily hit by someone who went over a stop sign here in Austin on W44th St and made a left onto Medical Parkway hitting me and another gentleman who was coming from the opposite direction on Medical Parkway. There is no repair for the car because the collision was very strong and the airbag went off. How can I know the true value of this vintage car?
It was beautiful and driving just fine. Year 1999, mileage 244K.
New break system, two brand new tires, and etc. The car was in very good conditions.

I think if you show your insurance company a list of vehicles that are close to your in miles and condition, you may get a little bargaining power. Other than that, your screwed. JMHO Welcome to the forum, and good luck.

Very sorry to hear about your vehicle. It really sucks to lose such an old & nice vehicle.
I have a 1994 Ram Diesel (1st yr for 2nd gen). They are very popular but I am cautious to drive it in the winter. I think insurance would say it is worth $2,500 when I have spent $14k+ into it to build it. $6k transmission, $3k lift, 35" tires plus engine work.....
Best of luck. I am truly sorry.
