    Hello all,

I noticed the gas mileage decreased on the new 2020. Any thoughts on the cause?

The weight of the saftey sence or the driver punching the gas while damn cars trying to stop. Actually dunno, just a guess but when I had ford, shut the crap off as it fights one while driving

You noticed it where? I'm on Toyota's site right now and both '19 & '20 SR5 and TRD OR show 17/20/18 for mpg.

They probably stopped overexaggerating MPG. We all know every manufacturer does this.

So it shows 1 mpg less for all 3? 16/19/17?

Doesn’t matter. It will change constantly with driving conditions.

Must have something to do the the safety sense as that was the only difference and the new radio.

You can make that 1MPH up with some go fast stickers.

    Seems Toyota had been exaggerating
its MPG from 2009 to 2019.

Another number I suspect is its 5000lbs tow capability. Anyone agrees?

To get best mileage on gas guzzlers. You need to stay under 60MPH at all times.
Gets worse as the vehicle ages.

Try this on the older vehicles. Worked on my previous SUVs
